We don't claim him, and neither does Central. Typical Internet troll

NW returns QB and some lineman. Most of the skill set is gone due to graduation or injury.

Orrville has a very good Junior class. Biggest thing from last year from observing was they seem to have had some serious injuries.

Tuslaw and Triway have new coaches, interested to see what they will have.

Manchester will be Manchester

Fairless has a very solid defense.

CVCA seems to be rebuilding, and should be much better than the past few years.

Honestly don't know anything about Loudonville except they had some deep runs a few years ago. Don't know what they have coming back.

2017 PAC-7 Football Divisions:
D4: CVCA, Northwest
D5: Fairless, Manchester, Orrville, Triway, Tuslaw
D6: Loudonville

I think everyone stayed in the same division.

Do not hate me because I have the good info hook up and I am always right. You want my real opinion? Here you go. Northwest, Manchester, CVCA will compete for the title. Northwest and CVCA because they will have the talent to do it. Northwest has a broader talent pool to choose from. CVCA has a lot of younger kids who got good playing time last year. CVCA may even be a year away from being their very best but they will compete for the PAC title this year. Both teams have fair to decent coaching. Coaching is the reason Manchester is in it. Coaching is the reason they are always in it. I know a lot of people including me dog Manchester for the old school approach but the coaching there is still better than at a lot of other schools. That staff gets more out of average talented kids than they have a right to. Honestly I was disappointed that Orrville was not a bigger factor. I am questioning whether the talent pool there is drying up. At Triway it will come down to how well the new coach and the team mesh. Sarachan has a good football mind but he is used to having the hand picked talent at Hoban. Will he be able to match his offense to the talent he will have? He is a pretty good coach so I think he will, but Triway is still going to go through an adjustment and will finish in the middle somewhere. Same stiuation at Tuslaw. Gulling was a big reason for Marlington being so improved the past few seasons but he had talent to work with there. Can he adjust to the smaller talent pool at Tuslaw? We will see. I think he can, but it may take a season to get there. A lot of people have made the point I will make about Fairless. They usually have talent but the coaching is always suspect. Sooner or later they will get it together but I do not think that it will be this year. Like CVCA, Loudonville played a lot of younger kids last year. Unlike CVCA, I do not know that it will make a difference in the PAC. It could but I am not convinced.

Below is how I think the PAC will finish

1 (Tie) CVCA (8-2 6-1)
1 (Tie) Northwest (8-2 6-1)
3 Manchester (7-3 5-2)
4 Orrville (5-5 4-3)
4 Triway (5-5 4-3)
6 Tuslaw (3-7 2-5)
7 Loudonville (2-8 1-6)
8 Fairless (1-9 0-7)

Also my CCC Crusaders will once again be the Champions of Division Five.

on another post manchester will lose their first three ... on this post they will finish 5 - 2 in the league ... make enough predictions and your bond to hit on one ... Stizz is like most NE Ohio weathermen ... they are right once in awhile ...

If Northwest goes 8-2, they better be unbeaten in PAC games. They are going to lose to both Lake and New Philadelphia out of league.

Northwest's only non league loss will be to Lake. They will lose once in the PAC to either Manchester or CVCA.

Northwest CVCA and Manchester will all make the playoffs this year.

You are delusional if you think Northwest is going to win at New Philly.

CCC has it rolling!! Coach Lindesmith and his staff do a great job!! It's hard enough to win football games, but to compete while starting 17 freshmen and sophomores against a schedule that included 9 playoff teams (7 regular season and 2 scrimmages) is a bit daunting at times!! We will be much improved after a very good off-season, but the PAC will be a new challenge in itself!! Good luck to everyone and stay healthy!! Keep Getting Better Every Day!!

This.

Lake and New Philly will be great prep for the PAC schedule. I still question why on earth we scheduled Lake. Canton South also has a good nucleus back of returning starters. NW will most likely at least lose 1 game in the PAC. I see this being a very competitive year, wouldn't be surprised to see a Co-Champ.

Week 1
Lake at Northwest
CVCA at Crestwood
Sandy Valley at Fairless
Chippewa at Manchester
Triway at West Holmes
Smithville at Tuslaw
Wooster at Orrville
Loudenville at Northwestern

A good chance the PAC goes 0-8, maybe 1-7.

I don't see Northwest, Orrville, or Loudonville winning. The other 5 could win their games. I think the PAC wins at least 2 of those 5.

0-8, 1-7, 2-6, anyway you look at it, it looks like a bad start to the season for the PAC.
Just a few short years ago, 2013, the PAC had 4 teams make the playoffs and all 4 won their week 11 games.
Since then they've only had one team make the playoffs each year.

I say 2-6, maybe 3-5

Manchester will beat Chippewa in a close game. CVCA will beat crestwood. Crestwood got decimated by graduation.

Tuslaw will surprise Smithville and start the Gulling era off in the right track

Way too early for this sort of thing, but I have nothing better to do.

CVCA over Crestwood
Sandy over Fairless
Manchester over Chippewa
Triway over West Holmes
Tuslaw over Smithville
Wooster over Orrville
Northwestern over Loudonville
Lake over Northwest

PAC goes 4-4 to open the season.

I got 4-4 for Pac. I do think Loudonville and Triway games are 50/50. Smithville should be down, but I don't know how down. I say Tuslaw has about 70% chance to win.

I think CVCA/Crestwood, SV/Fairless, Chippewa/Manchester, Triway/WH are literally all coin flips and could go either way. Each of those games will come down to turnovers in my opinion.

Since I moved away I'm very much out of the loop. With Earich graduating, who is in line to play QB for Manchester this year?
