After watching the Maumee Bay Classic, I would say most of those teams involved are properly raked. The only one I would disagree with, Oregon Clay over Perrysburg. Perrysburg scored higher in the tourney and beat Clay in a dual. From what I saw, I think they may have more state qualifiers also.

I agree Perrysburg has placed higher at every common tournament and in head to head action. And they did this without Alex Garee their 145 state ranked wrestler. But that is what is fun about rankings. They get everyone talking and we will all get to see at the end of the year. Thanks Bucksman for the time you invest in these rankings.

State Title

No team in Division I has ever, in the history of the state tournament, ever won that was south of Mansfield.

I really like that Beaver Local team and think they have a real shot of making D2 real interesting.

Keep dreaming you obviously didnt see the dual. Ed's came out of the flames and spanked LaSalle.

Ed's certainly didn't spank LaSalle at the duals. Yes, they won but including the pin called in the 220 match there were at least a few calls that could have gone either way.

I don't think anyone (with knowledge) would have predicted Ed's to spank LaSalle. They have a very good team. The state tournament will also come down to Saturday morning.

I'm not sure what you saw in regards to the 220 match but the LaSalle wrestler was stuck earlier then the ref called.

Every match will have a "few calls" that could go either way. Depending on which team you are for will determine how you see the call going.

Last night was great for high school wrestling. Great match. Two very good teams.
