Norwalk D-2 District Rankings #9

I welcome any insight into which weights certain wrestlers are competing, because I know that Iím bound to be off with some wrestlers.

I love doing these rankings, but as it has been pointed out before, they are just for fun. To any wrestlers who read these and feel that they are ranked too low, you may be right.
I am bound to be wrong on many of the rankings, but fortunately they have absolutely no impact on how anyone will finish at any tournament this season or any other year.

Norwalk D-2 District Rankings #9

Not all districts are created equal. As I look through all the D2 districts, I see how OHSAA needs to fix how they create districts. This one is a joke. No offense to the wrestlers competing in it, because you didnít create it. Many of the top 4 in this district would not make it out of alliance.

You canít logically argue that this is a tough district. It has a few very tough individuals, but has no depth. Only 1 top 10 team represented here. Alliance has 6 teams ranked in the top 10. How do you compete with a good team at the State Tournament who takes over half their team out of a subpar district??? I did my research

Gotta back up Bpaulus79 on this one, but not much you can do. They divide up the districts geographically. Depth wise...Alliance is right there with the D1 districts.

bucksman will become famous soon enough
The two years immediately preceding this one were average at best for this district (now at Norwalk), while the years prior to 2016 (i.e. 2015 going back) were much better.

In D2 overall I think it's kind of always been the Alliance district then everyone else. I also believe the district that is vastly improving is the Heath district. The district out west has always been carried by Graham. This district has been down the last couple years but could always bounce back.
