Boro's AUGUST, ranks of St. Edward wrestlers. Obviously, some of these will be different come November.

1. Gallagher
2. Kazimir
2. Andonian
2. Dover
2. Howard
4. Richter
4. Seefeldt
7. Rini
7. Santillo
8. Hepner
12. Hightower

No one ranked at 170, 182, or 220.

I imagine a couple guys will make a case to be ranked at those weights by mid season.

Looks like Kettering Fairmont district has 220lbs on yellow alert, too early for red.

90% sure that if heil wins again this year, he will be the first 3 time NCAA DIv 1 Champion. He's a awesome person and wrestler and rooting for him and will be there watching March is gonna be great!

He would be the 1st 3 timer in St. Edward history.

1 timers, and 2 timers, but never a 3 timer or 4 timer as of yet. Obviously several 3 and 4 timers exist in the history of the NCAA.

Looks like St. Ed's will face SPG twice this year in a dual setting. Not sure how that will effect if the dual in January.

We should start to see how the line up shakes out in the next two weeks. I only see a couple of weights for wrestle offs.

Well Boro has the following guys ranked in DI as the respective weight class listed:

106- Seefeldt, 4th
113- Richter, 6th
120- Rini, 5th
126- Hepner, 6th
132- Kazimir, 2nd
138- Andonian, 1st
145- Dover, 2nd
152- Gallagher, 5th
160- Hightower, 11th
195- Howard, 2nd
285- Santillo, 7th

I am fairly surprised to see that Dover is able to make 145. That has to be a difficult cut, but with the studs in Ohio at 152 and 160 (Carr, Mattox, Brady, Marsh, Snodgrass, Muhammed, among some others), I can't blame him for being a little extra motivated to get down after being a State Placer twice in two years and wanting that elusive State Title. If Dover can stay healthy for a full season he is going to turn a lot of heads. People don't realize how good he is since he was injured for significant portions of the season each of the last two years.

I have a hard time seeing Kazimir being denied this year. I know Fields has been his Achilles heal for a couple years now and according to Boro they are yet again predicted to be in the same weight class, but I just believe Kazimir is going to finish his Senior year on a high note. Fields is obviously a stud in his own right being the defending State Champion, and is probably a little more motivated himself after transferring in the offseason out of Walsh.

138 is super interesting with Baughman, Voinivich, and Andonian predicted to be at the head of the weight right now. Such different styles, it will be exciting to watch. Andonian is always exciting to watch.

So Delsanter won the 106 wrestle off versus Seefeldt? Does anyone know who all won the rest of the wrestle offs then?

The line up should be Delsanter, Richter, Rini, Hepner, Kaz, Bryce, Dover, Paddy, Hightower, Zahieb (sorry I know I mispelled) Cundiff, Howard, Omar Kilbane/Santillo.
More wrestle offs to come.

Anyone know whats going on with L.J. Bentley?

I have to think it is up to him, Landier, or maybe Campbell to keep the DI AA streak alive after this year.

This year is all but a lock with Heil, Heffernan, and Abounader. There have been other years that looked like the streak would end and it did not though so we shall see.

L.J. is going 26 at Pitt. Hunter will have a tough time AA this year. Campbell (to the best of my knowledge) is not on the CSU roster.

Thought Cambell went to Mizz, but he is not on their roster either.

Looks like Hart will be behind Erneste again next year. Someone will step up and keep the streak alive.

Campbell just announced last month that he is enrolling at Notre Dame College. I believe this year is called a "gap year" by the cool kids.

Missouri didn't work out for whatever reason. I don't know if he is planning on enrolling right away or waiting until next year to officially enroll. Perhaps he will be going the Isiah White route and transferring to a program that offers him whatever it is he is looking for in a school and program this coming year. That will allow him to transfer without having to sit out at all just like Isiah White did to Nebraska this year from NDC and perhaps he could raise his stock with some success at what will be a much different weight class for him.

I love the way the guy wrestles and his fiery attitude on the mat, but most evaluators have to see him as a classic "tweener." I thought he would be a heavyweight for sure and I still believe that, but maybe he is thinking 197.

I admit I am not the biggest Ed's fan. But when it come to the streak I hope someone is able to step up and keep it going.
