Iguadola getting away with murder once again and he just continues to get praise for his good defense.

I'd agree. Everyone involved knows contracts expire, though, and my point was that as an exec that was wanting to keep two of the three, Durant would have been one of them.

Iguadola is washed up. He can't get away with these fouls the whole series... although he has in years past so who knows.

Kyrie is going to have to start playing better or the Cavs will have no chance.

Wow, Durant was out of bounds before that bucket. Three calls clearly wrong in the favor of GS so far. None for the Cavs.

With all that said the Warriors are clearly outplaying the Cavs. The better team is winning thus far.

Warriors could run away with this. Lots of Cavs role players disappearing.

Its amazing how bad the officiating is in game 1 and no I don't think that's the reason the cavs are losing this game

I now project the Cavs in 5.

If not, expect LeBron to jump ship and join the Warriors.

And a an assist/TO ratio by the Warriors that's through the roof.

When it's this extreme, turnovers are a function of hustle. Pretty disappointing effort by the Cavs. A few bad, desperate passes, but more often Warriors beating Cavs to basketballs at both ends of the floor.

Taco MacArthur has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Good lord. Abused on the boards and interior defense. Outside of Love and LeBron no one rebounded. Entirely too many turnovers. LeBron had a lot but I specifically remember 3 of Kyrie's where he tried doing too much to drive to the paint and losing the ball. No one could guard Durant. Without looking I feel like the Cavs shot poor from 3. They need Love and Kyrie to be hot from 3 to stand a chance. Thompson has to show up. They don't need him scoring 20 points but 0-3, 4 rebounds and one assist? Can't win with that.

Didn't get to watch a lot of the game, mostly 2nd half but at halftime I checked the box score and was shocked to see the Cavs bench being outscored 17-9. They definitely have the edge there and couldn't take advantage. The other glaring thing was Draymond had 0 points and Klay only had 4. The Warriors had a very efficient game (4 TOs tied a Finals record), but they weren't firing on all cylinders either. All that said, seeing the Cavs win Game 2 wouldn't shock me in the least bit. With Durant in the mix this year the Cavs can't afford to put themselves in a 2-game hole like they did last year.

Yeah, this game is just how the past two Finals mostly went, a lot of blowouts. The turnover trend will likely flip TBH, as that's one of the Warriors' only flaws. The Cavs' role players will have to play much better though for them to have a chance.

Regarding the Warriors not hitting on all cylinders... they really were IMO. Klay and Draymond didn't have huge games, but that's just the nature of their team now. Only so many guys can put up big numbers in a single game.

By the way, why the hell does Channing Frye not even sniff the floor anymore? I get that he's not fantastic defensively, but he was drilling threes before Lue benched him.

It's not like the Cavs can stop GS from scoring anyway, may as well roll with Frye and Korver at the same time and try to match them

I don't think they hit all cylindars at all. The difference in the game was the Cavs inability to take care of the ball and effectively defensive rebound, which put them at a huge shot disadvantage.

This series definitely isn't over by a long shot. You have to expect the Cavs to play with more intensity and urgency the rest of the way.

Where were the Warriors lacking, EP? What do you see them improving upon as the series continues? IMO they played close to their best ball, which they do with great regularity.
