Updated - Girls 100m & 200m All-Time Lists

I've attached an updated 100m (sub 11.80) list, and have also included now the initial release of the 200m list which I've cut-off at 23.99 or better. There are a few pieces of information in red text which are currently unconfirmed, but believed to be true. More research and updates will follow later this year and into next year. I've already got major lists 2/3 completed on the field events, and the running events are slowly coming together.

The following are my cut-offs on all-time lists currently, even though my database goes deeper. Legal winds apply to 100m/200m/100mH/LJ.

Additions/corrections/edits welcome.

100m - Sub 11.80 (working toward all sub 12.00)
200m - Sub 24.00 (working toward all sub 24.50)
400m - Sub 54.00 (working toward all sub 55.00)
800m - Sub 2:10
1600m - Sub 4:50
3200m - Sub 10:30
100mH - Sub 14.00 (working toward all sub 14.20)
300mH - Sub 42.50 (working toward all sub 43.00)
4x100m - Sub 47.00
4x200m - Sub 1:39.00
4x400m - Sub 3:47.00
4x800m - Sub 9:10.00
High Jump - 5' 10" or better
Pole Vault - 13' 0" or better
Long Jump - 19' 0" or better
Triple Jump - 38' 0" or better
Shot Put (4kg) - 46' 0" or better
Discus Throw - 150' 0" or better

Other events will follow. You've already seen the 2000m Girls Steeplechase list (sub 8:00). I anticipate that'll go down to sub 7:30 at some point.

Thanks. I do enjoy, however. What is amazing is the inevitable march of time and raising of performance levels. When you look at the 1980s State results vs. today's, the depth is so much better as a whole. I think the internet with its distribution of training knowledge and examples have done wonders for not only track & field, but for myriads of sports and endeavors.

A quick note on the girls' 200m. I normally don't include manually-timed performers/performances on lists. However, I did include Brenda Morehead's 23.3 MT from the 1975 AAU Jr. Nationals as this was listed as a legal performance wind-wise on historical lists, and given it was the AAU nationals (jr.), there would have been at least 3 timers clocking her in those events. I place that level of a meet above a state championship in terms of set-up. I'm looking at her 11.4 MT from the same meet and may include that in the next release (later this year).

I agree that a performance like that at a meet like that (Moorehead) should be included.

Update:

I should have 1st "cuts" on the girls' hurdle events coming in a couple weeks. This will include: 100mH (33"), 300mH (30"), and 400mH (30"). I can tell you that it makes for an interesting trip down memory lane that involves big names from the past. LaVonna Martin (Trotwood Madison, 1984) still ranks #2 on the 100mH list with her 13.55 win at the 1984 Pan American Games in August of 1984. At that time, girls ran 30" in Ohio HS; however, at TAC Junior and other international meets, Martin did get the opportunity to run the 33" hurdles. Only Carmen Banks 13.50 to win the 1994 USATF Juniors ranks higher.

I have uploaded 1st cuts of the girls' 100mH, 300mH, and 400mH. They encompass sub-14.00, sub-42.50, and sub-64.00 performers & performances.
