Now they'll have a tough time matching up with the Cavs on the other end, but as will the Cavs. I'm going to say if the Celtics can some how limit Love or Kyrie, they have as shot. The Cavs are married to the big 3, all three have to play well for them to be successful. I feel Boston has a chance - and imagine if they get game 7 in Boston??
LeBron spent the 2011 ECF on Derrick Rose. He guarded Steph plenty last year. never had an issue with energy or foul trouble with either of those two. Kyrie's height matches up with Avery Bradley, an okay 3 point shooter. Smith's height matches up with Crowder's. Thompson can guard Horford well enough on the perimeter. Johnson doesn't very often from 10+ feet, Love will be fine. Neither Rozier, Smart nor Brown are shooters.

Kevin Love was basically a zero in the Finals last year and they won the Finals. He averaged 8.5 points, scored double digits once, and 6.8 rebounds, double digit rebounds twice. So no, they don't need all three to play well to be successful. Again, you're incorrect.

Took ya long enough! Guy hit some big 3's last year in the Finals if I remember correctly.

Absolutely not. Nor were they last year. Yet somehow Larry O'Brien is residing in the 216.

Hard to even evaluate the Cavs at this point. The east is so weak and they are playing teams that have horrible matchups. Add now that Lowery is banged up and the Cavs are just cruising.

Also remember this in a month or so because as usual, the Western conf teams are beating each other up, while the Cavs expend very little effort. It makes a difference in the end.
The Cavs were 3-1 against the Celtics this year.

Big game 4 tomorrow between Wiz and Celts. If Washington wins the series likely goes 7. If Boston wins it likely ends in 5

Probably. If both teams are healthy, including Coach Kerr, it will be a very close, very fun series. In a very close series, I'll take the team with LeBron. The man is incredible. Last year down 3-1 he just took over. Nobody in this world can deal with him.

^ I'm dumbfounded right now. As of 4/13 Vegas had Warriors at 1/2 and Cavs at 7/2 to win the Finals.

Hopefully both teams are completely healthy, coaches included, this time around. Kyrie and Love were both out at times in 2015. Then Steph had his bad wheel last year, plus Draymond getting himself suspended. But GS has had Steph limping around and sitting out the 4th Qtr in Game 1 against Utah, and Green last night going down and coming out of the game. Not to mention Durant's injury from early March. The Warriors definitely look a little more fragile at this point.

MVP is doing work again tonight. We are spoiled as hell.

(Side note: Kyrie goes out and the Cavs offense improves drastically)

I think I even saw Korber block a few shots tonight. Maybe he's not as one-dimensional as I thought.

So..... it wasn't just me!

Actually, 1227 was sited on the MLB board two days ago when the Indians lost.

Let the Wiz-C's series go the full seven games and give the Cavs around 8 days off.

Ahhh yes, letting everyone know that the Indians season is over and that Francona should be fired I assume?

Yes! I think if it goes 7, the ECF don't start until Wed May 17 which would give the Cavs 10 days off.

LeBron is ridiculous. I haven't checked the stats but this has to be his best post season, or close to it. Take it in and enjoy it people, we're watching a top 5 all time put up arguably his best performance yet. If there were a Playoffs MVP, he'd have it by a country mile.

I remember someone telling me that I was foolish to expect LeBron's 3-point % to improve with age, when I suggested that was how he would change his game as time went by.

A little more work on his handle, and I can imagine him crab-dribbling like Magic sideways down the floor at 40 years old - if that's what he wants.

They say shooting is the last thing to start to fall off, of all basketball skills. Not all that ridiculous to think. As his body breaks down, he spends less time in the paint and more on the perimeter. Logic suggests he'd work more and more on that aspect. If only his FT shooting would follow suit.

At the moment, his FT% is over 80% in the playoffs. But he needs to do that consistently. It still boggles my mind how professional basketball players who are paid millions cannot consistently make 7/8 out of 10 FREE throws. It's like a PGA pro that can't hit a 3 wood off the fairway.

WOW! Was that a complement about LeBron from CA, or an extremely subtle dig about how he hadn't lived up to his potential in the past?
