7 = Excellent !!!!!
6 = Great
5 = pretty Good
4 = OK/Good
3 = not good
2 = Bad
1 = Unwatchable

==========================================

#3862 Grandma's House (US-2018) ... 3.0/8

Deion's Double Play (2019) 5/8 The latest 30 for 30 documentary about Deion Sanders' attempt to play both an NFL game and NLCS game in the same day. I was in high school when this happened and only vaguely remembered it, so it was informative. I don't remember the incident with Tim McCarver at all. Maybe a little longer than it needed to be.

8th Grade- 6.5/8. Movie is filled with awkward moments, but thatís the point. Great acting from the lead, dialogue felt natural and unscripted.

Not a movie but watched the show You on Netflix. It was a lot better than I thought. A true binge worthy show. One of the better shows I've seen so far this year.

6.5/8

Bohemian Rhapsody (2018)- I was never a huge Queen fan despite growing up in that era. Despite that, I really enjoyed this movie. Rami Malek is outstanding as Freddy Mercury. Easy to see why he won so many best actor awards. To my surprise, it was one of the best movies I have seen in a while. Strong contender with Green Book for movie of the year.

The Shining (1980) ... 7.0/8

Not sure how many times I've seen this one but every time I see something different.... this time, Why is Jack reading a Playgirl Magazine in the lobby?

Halloween (1976) ... 6.5/8

Another multiple viewed one.... oh, if only Jamie Lee Curtis would of believed Tommy about the Boogeyman....

Fighting with My Family: 5.5/8

Predictable. Loaded with cliches. Story felt somewhat rushed at the end. Mixed in tone. Solid cast. Likeable characters all around. Entertaining.

Not the worst movie you'll ever see. Worth watching when it pops up on Netflix.

Easy Rider (1969) 5.5/8 This movie is a little before my time, so I had never seen it. It was interesting for sure, great score/soundtrack. The camera play was a little odd to me but I was glad I watched it.

Captain Marvel (2019) 7/8 Thought this was one of the better MCU movies up to date. It really overshot my expectations. Great origin story and good build up for Avengers: Endgame coming next month.

The Stranger (1946) - A good crime thriller involving escaped Nazi war criminal hiding in a small American town. Olson Wells turns in a good performance.

Some of the best films are hard to watch (Schindler's List (1993) for example). I am sure this documentary is one of those. How did the parents of the victims come off in this film?

They came off as absolute idiots. Especially one in particular. Who lets a grown man who is a stranger sleep with their underage children? One mother got so stuck on being famous and in the limelight she didnít even care to look after thre own son.

I've been waiting for someone to give some insight into this.

Dynamite cast and the trailer looks great but I've been fooled too many times. Thanks for the heads up.

Itís very bland and generic. Some good action, but not much, and you can pretty much predict the plot.

one, I do not believe them as they never took a lie detector test. If the reason why they did this was because they wanted the truth to be known and not for the $$$ then wouldn't you think they would of done a lie detector test?

As for the stranger comment the mom stated that Michael was like her own son. They spent ton of time together so he was not a stranger. Since I believe that there was no molesting taking place I do not see the problem. It may or may not be appropriate that he slept in the same bed but it is none of my business so I do not care. I do not see Michael as a grown man for sake but more like a child in a mans body.

This was already kicked around in another thread but I cannot help myself here...

Is a lie detector your criteria on everything? It is not just their stories dude. It is what was caught in the public eye. Holding hands with little boys. The systematic cultivation (like all diddlers). It would be one thing if Michael NEVER came off as a child molester but he did, and he did strongly. It would be further suspect if these accusations had never been raised before, but they had, multiple times.

Michael preyed on certain families with certain mothers who could essentially be "bought off". Do you have kids? Do you believe it is ok for your own son to sleep with a family friend grown man? Same bed? It is F-ing weird. Whether your business or not. Period.

Lastly, you make it seem as if since Michael is, in your mind, a child in a man's body it is somehow ok? Or changes the circumstances? As if justifying it, in your mind?

It is extremely creepy and odd that you defend Jackson to the point that you just did.

Was looking for a comedy on Netflix this past week and got burned several times.

The Week Of - 4/8 - Chris Rock plays a high end surgeon from LA whose son is marrying Sandler's daughter in Long Island. Sandler plays a dorky small business owner who scratches to make ends meet. Had a couple moments of laughter. Steve Buscemi helps.

Father of the Year - 1/8 - David Spade plays a drunken bum dad with an awful and overused Boston accent.

Polka King - 3/8
- Jack Black plays a Polish immigrant Polka band leader who creates a Ponzi scheme to fund his drive to fame.
