Northwest Ohio Athletic League 2018-2019

2017-2018 Results

Wauseon 22 - 0 7 - 0
Archbold 18 - 3 6 - 1
Evergreen 12 - 10 5 - 2
Bryan 12 - 10 4 - 3
Delta 7 - 14 3 - 4
Patrick Henry 9 - 13 2 - 5
Swanton 6 - 16 1 - 6
Liberty Center 3 - 19 0 - 7

A lot of changes at the top due to graduation and retirement.

Is Evergreen going to step up?

Should be an interesting year with some key faces from last year gone. Maybe it will be more balanced. Evergreen should be better, but keep in mind they did lose to both Delta and Swanton in non-league games last year. They started out the season very slowly but did come on strong in the last half.
But it will probably be Archbold or Wauseon. One of them has won at least a share of every title since 2009-2010. Only Bryan and Swanton added a shared title in that span.

You need to "do some more homework" LC won the title outright in 2011-12, Bryan won it outright in both 2012-13 and 2013-14, Patrick Henry won it outright in 2016-17 season.

ILikeSports, point taken, your right, I overlooked the sport, "my bad" as my kids were fond of saying. I thought my search function was only directed to one sport. My apologies!

Interesting season ahead as I think Wauseon and Archbold have come back to the pack. Wauseon will have the best backcourt in Armstrong and Seiler but what will they get from the others stepping into new roles??? You can't replace 6'9 and controlling the paint so it will be more difficult for the Indians this year. Archbold lost a legend in Krauss as well as a very good Sr. Class but they do have some talent back. The Streaks will rely heavily on Williams and Ramos early on until they can develop some depth.
The Most talented team in the league is Evergreen but the problem here is that there aren't enough basketballs on the court. If they can learn to play together and play defense then the Vikings should win the league. Bryan is a wild card as is Swanton in my opinion...hard to tell about Delta, LC, and PH.

Should be a fun year with a lot of evenly matched contests.
