Hue is in serious danger of losing this team and things really getting ugly especially with what's ahead on the schedule.

We've already heard frustration from players and you come out and piss away another winnable game. Baker looked shell shocked at the end of the game. Trade away a productive respected veteran.

This thing is close to spiraling out of control.

Apparently he threw his OC under the bus at the press conference by saying that it was time that he ( Hue) gets more involved with the offense. This is the last straw. He needs to be fired Monday. Grossi on radio now calling for a change at the top.

Hue is awful. He will be awful until about a half an hour after game 16.

I've said it a million times- when you lose that many close games it comes right back to the coaching. If they were playing over their heads to be in these games it would be a different story, but they're p!$$!ng away chances over and over.

Haley has not been good. His offense is largely predictable and ineffective. That being said, on what basis could we conclude that inept Hue's involvement would improve it?

I'd take Hue over Haley when it comes to play calling.

Hue just not getting it done. I hate making so many changes at coach, but several of our coaches the past 20 years have been better than Hue.

I got the impression early on that Hue was told to leave Haley and Williams alone. He may be sensing now that the end is near so that if he is going to go down it will be on his terms. With any luck, he'll get those huge play cards back out so that he can fixate on those while the clock ticks down and he misses the game going on in front of him. Two years of watching that mess wasn't enough.

C'mon guys. Being a little hard on the guy. He just needs some time to develop these young players. I think in 10 years, Hue will figure it out. #2029 Playoffs!

Great, your number prove that Hue is not a good head coach. I'd still take him over Haley as a play caller.

Keep him for the season. Allow his poor decisions rise the Browns on the draft board.

They are close and have their franchise QB and a very good defense. Look for them to use HJ as their pawn to get a better pick, fire him and another solid addition in the draft and FA and this is a top notch team.

When Marla Ridenour starts sniping about you, you are a short timer.

Best comment of the article-
On Monday, Jackson tried to salve the wounds. All smiles, he was friendly and cooperative, taking more questions when his news conference was about to be cut off. The media saw the Jackson who can schmooze his way out of anything, even a 1-31 record his first two seasons. He was in full manipulation mode, using perhaps the same talent for damage control that he practices on owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam every week.

Was it the late Dennis Green that said, “you are what your record says you are”?
This also applies to Hue and the Haslam’s!

I don't know if anything will be on Hue's terms from here on out. I do think he knows he's on borrowed time, and has been from the outset of this season, only now he's starting to see those bright lights.

He was contrite to the point of groveling during his press conference when he walked back his comments about getting more involved in the play-calling. Granted, the Mayfield sneak from the one still haunts me after watching Chubb shred tacklers during the drive, but Haley is hampered by a depleted receiving corps that restricts his ability to open up the playbook. I'd take Haley 10 times out of 10 over Hue. At least he hasn't called a flea-flicker from his end zone.

"On his own terms" was a misstatement, but my point was that he may see the end is near and figure he might as well try to take full control to save himself. If he reminds us all one more time that he's "the head coach", I may lose my mind. It's bad enough that he is, I don't need reminded.
