My Dem friends on Facebook are not quite sure how to respond to this news. A few of the more adventurous ones are harumphing that it "confirms" what they've been saying about Trump all along. A few just ignore the part about who helped the FBI finance this dossier, and continue to venerate Hillary as a woman wronged by the deplorables, and her campaign as something holy. And the rest are sighing, " But - but - Obama was the coolest president ever!"

Spin diversity, as it were.

I do find Trump deplorable, and Hillary too. The Clintons have been caught in many lies over the years, dating back to the Arkansas days. Oh, the stories Arkansas State Troopers could tell.

It's more then Clinton though. It's the DNC leadership that paid for the dossier and it's the Obama administration justice department which evidently used "evidence" from the dossier to obtain FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign. The rot runs deeper here then just the Clinton's.

Heads should roll, but my guess is that, I do not know how, but the majority will somehow slip by and not have to pay the piper. Now if it was you or I being caught up in this we would be doing hard time in the big house for many years. Just once I wish some of these big name scum politicians would do some time for their crimes.

The swamp waters are deep and its ecosystem is diverse. All the creatures depend on one another even though they may often eat each other.

Bribery and blackmail keep the waters calm.

Trump is a GD suction draining whirlpool.

Wow, bad timing Tommy boy. Looks like all those charges you're flinging at Trump actually should be landing on Hillary, the DNC and the Obama administration.

I think we're witnessing a brilliant strategery here. Notice how Trump isn't exactly tearing up the Twitterverse over all this. My guess is that the administration became aware of a lot of this stuff in February/March and they have been methodically collecting evidence to solidify a case of massive corruption by the Clintons, DNC and Obama administration. At this point the LAST thing the Trump people want to appear is to be is eager to nail the dems. They must proceed using a calm, sober & reasoned approach. This must not appear to be a witch hunt.

Time is on the Trumpsters side here as the justice department & Senate/Congressional committees take the gloves off and start digging deeper into this nest of corruption. Even parts of the MSM are waking up to the sheer scope of this and are beginning to cover it in a responsible manner. By this time next year, on the eve of the midterm elections, we will be shocked in hindsight as to how much has come out and how truly screwed the democrats are.

If anyone thinks that the 'Pubs in the House and Senate will pass on an opportunity to trash the DNC and the Clintons just because the dirt uncovered came to light from an initial effort to smear someone else, he is nuts. If there is a case there that will cripple the opposition without exposing 'Pub wrongs, it will come to full light of day. They don't even need a conviction - just a stench to turn voters away.

They will come away with a nice list of suckers for their database, and that's about it.
