Any chance in your mind that LeBron was concussed, or are you just going to ignore that to better troll ts ? Are they better defensively - like the Pacers with more offensive skills - without Kyrie and Hayward ? Where was this Horford in all the Atlanta early playoff exits ? He and the rookie have meshed well with the guys Stevens had last year, but there's no guarantee Kyrie and Hayward would have.

Unless the concussion happened before the game started, no. The pockets of rest were happening all game, just most notably during the last 8 minutes since it was still a very winnable game and no one else on the Cavs was stepping up. Even if that's the case, he needs to sit then. He contributed to multiple easy baskets for the Celtics during the last stretch of the game. Just because I have a post that isn't uniform with Cavs homers doesn't mean I'm trolling.

Vegas casinos want tallmadge dad to stay away, because he blew out the spread bigly.

55% of gamblers took Boston +6.5 today. Never bet against the house (or LeBron James).

If, and it's a big if, Boston can get by the Cavs they will be swept by GS or Houston.

Glad to see that bum Rodney Hood not get a minute of playing time. Given that everyone except Ante Zizic and Kendrick Perkins (lol) saw the floor, I hope he's out of the damn rotation. Millions of dollars to refuse to play.

If the Cavs play even 75% of how they did tonight they will go back to Beantown 2-2.

The defensive cohesiveness and tenacity was nice to see. Tristan re-introduced us to Atlanta-playoffs-quality-Al-Horford. Just above meh.

Unlike the break they took after sweeping the baby dinos, leading into another "break" in Boston for the first two losses, they looked like a team with it's act together last night.

Yeah I think either Eastern Conference team has a decent shot of being swept in the Finals. If it's Houston then the eastern team may steal a game or two. But it'll be GS

What about the Cavs? Do you have them being swept also? Boston matches up fairly well with Houston, I think a Finals with those two goes at least 6.

First 2 games, 55% of Boston shots were contested by Cavs defenders. Last night, 78%.

I hate that they seem to just give games away when their shots aren't falling early. The huge point swings either way in wins and losses seem so much more common in playoff basketball today. I hate it.

Cavs outscored the C's in every quarter and took the boards 45-34. I take that as this was the first time in the series the Cavs came out to play.

It's maddening, isn't it ? I can't take it sometimes. Shooting can be streaky, schemes shift and may trick you for a while, whatever. The only thing a player can 100% control 100% of the time is effort. Why do they sometimes all slack off when LeBron does ? That is when they need to dial up the intensity the most.

Love's and Tristan's "motors" and George Hill's back spasms are the most important things at play, imo. They are a different team when Hill is facilitating and Love puts his rocket-socks on. I almost think Tristan has a switch that LeBron flips. Then it's JR's and Korver's shooting strokes. LeBron will LeBron when he has to. If his shot is off, he'll contribute in other ways. Lue and the players have to be able to adjust to that changing dynamic.

Just saw this - https://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ack-vs-celtics

"I think tonight as a group, even when things broke down, we just covered for one another," James said. "We made them make extra passes. We made them make extra dribbles. We were flying around, and I just happened to be one of the guys on the floor that wanted to fly around as well."
Team D and effort. Pretty simple stuff. If the shots aren't all falling, maybe you win by 4. Everybody can give effort, as much as they have in the tank any time they choose to.

I think we see the all too common Cavs victory tonight where they get a decent lead, pi$$ it away, then rally at the end to win by 6 or 7.

Bets on the Cavs winning the title get a 15/1 payout right now. 15/1 that LeBron gets a fourth title. Warriors are 1/6. Think about that for a second. $100 on LeBron could turn into $1500. You'd have to lay $9000 down to get the same on a gimpy Steph Curry and the Warriors.

Just sayin...

Cavs win by 9, they shoot 50% and Love is 3-12. They will need a similar team effort Wednesday night and Love will need to be on.

This has played out pretty much like everyone (besides haters) figured it would. The key game is game 5. I believe whoever wins game 5 wins this series.

I guess Rodney Hood was fine with being a mediocre secondary scorer for the Jazz rather than a bit player for the Cavs, and so refused to enter the game a week or two ago. Key is though, the Jazz dealt him. Even more key, the Jazz aren't playing right now.

He's a b**** is the problem.
