New girls basketball coach loves Watkins Memorial's foundation

Tate Moore is not looking to start over at Watkins Memorial.

The Warriors' new girls basketball coach simply is looking to be a missing piece. Watkins made major strides particularly in building a program the past six seasons under former coach Jayme Gates but were never able to get over the hump at the varsity level.

"I am extremely blessed and lucky to see what I am coming into," Moore said. "Credit to coach Gates, the parents, the players, this is a great situation to be in. I am ready to get going and keep the ball rolling."
