Agreed on Cook.

M*chigan looked like it was sleepwalking most of the game last night.

I agree. It reminded me of the UM-OSU game in 2015 until the 4th quarter.

I have thought for years some seniors don't want to have a serious injury in their last game.

A completely healthy Michigan team could've given anyone other than Alabama a run for their money. I still think their talent was playoff-worthy.

With that being said, their O-line was atrocious for most of the game and the offensive play calling was questionable from start to finish.

I definitely question Harbaugh's ability to more with less next season.

Exactly or at least 8 team.

The OL has been awful the whole season. Ya gotta win in the trenches. I also don't understand the penchant for running Smith up the middle for a loss. His best bet for a decent gain is a little swing pass in the flat. He has good hands.

Yes, makes you wonder if the B1G has really closed the speed gap with the southern schools.

OSU-Clemson will tell a lot tonight.

Anyway, I have a feeling Bama is going to roll, this is basically a home game for them.

FSU dominated that game. Blatantly gave away 12 points and Jimbo called a terrible second half. Almost blowing that game made me sick

I've been telling all the cocky big 10 fans that the acc has been very good this year. Fsu and Clemson just woke many around here up finally

Everyone knew FSU's players were out, Peppers being ruled out right before kickoff is what made it a larger discussion point.

FSU made thee big plays that won them the game: the long pass for the score, Cook's one long run, and then the kick off return. I do not like Michigan, but FSU should not have beaten them. Michigan looked out of it most of the game, and took the lead when they finally woke up only to blow it in the end.

You must have casually watched the game. Michigan was dominated for most of it. No reasonable person would say they should have won. They couldn't even run the ball. Swarmed all night. Their oline was crushed.

FSU gave Michigan 12 points and they still won. Michigan led for like 2 minutes the entire game. If Jimbo calls a rational second half in play calling and if FSU doesn't do stupid stuff to almost choke , they win by 2 tds

Fsu was the better team period

FSU's DL ran circles around Michigan's OL. Kalis got beat like a drum all night. If Michigan had won it would have been more of FSU blowing it v Michigan winning.

Certainly an extremely odd start to the Rose Bowl. I was hoping this game would be tight as I'm not looking forward to Aub/OU at all.

Now THAT was a spectacular downfield TD pass by the Penn State QB. This is what a vertical passing game looks like.

Both QB's in this game showing how it's done.

Shame on espn for trotting KJ out. Let the man retire in dignity. The whole thing gave off a Dick Clark New years eve vibe. Though KJ did wack espn with his shot at the end of "saturation TV coverage"!

Iowa and Ohio State looked dismal but PSU is playing very well. If PSU holds on people will be saying that they should have been in the playoff.

And hats off to Penn State. After trailing 13 - 0 early in the 2nd quarter and looking dead to the world they have outscored USC by 42 - 14 to take a 42 - 27 lead.

Also, the PS QB is the BEST QB in the Big Ten. After throwing two INT's on their first two possessions the kid settled down and has been tearing it up. It is a rare thing to have a QB that can shake off the kind of start McSorley had and rebound to explode like he has. He's a gamer.

I still say that for all the reasons already discussed that Ohio State should have gone ahead of Penn State in the playoffs. But with that being said Penn State is clearly the better team at the present time.

What these games are showing to me is that they need to expand the playoffs to 16 teams. Have the first two rounds at the home field of the higher seeds which should motivate teams to play hard from start to finish.

USC has a very good offense.

As an aside I continue to be very impressed with McSorley. The plays he has made on this drive have been amazing.

35 points in 3 quarters is a bit ridiculous and that's with 2 missed field goals

Amazing what good skill players can do when you throw them the ball further than 10 yards downfield
