Just like Mariemont's double OT "blowout" of Taylor. The worse Taylor does it just makes Mariemont look even weaker.

And your stupidity continues.. This is quite hilarious! You continue to argue against Marimont as if I care. AGAIN slow guy I stated Mariemont was ranked to low and they were. I also said they would finish ahead of Taylor, and they will. You are the one that thinks thats such a stretch. I dont care if they beat Taylor by 1 point every time, last time I checked its a win, and your ridiculous notion that wins need to be by a certain amount means absolutely nothing. Unless you are willing to concede CNE is better than Taylor? So if you are, you are even a bigger Moron than you appear to be. Oh well, Enjoy your life buddy, ill continue to pray for you and more potent medicine for your "condition"

Although they already beat IH, Wyoming continues to distance themselves from the rest of the league with a 30 point win over Mariemont. IH is a clear second, but they struggled with Taylor last night. Ended up winning by 15 and I believe never trailed, but it was kinda close.

Just for fun quarter-season/new forecast for league finish:

Wyoming (14-0)

Indian Hill (11-3)

Madeira (9-5)
Mariemont (7-7)

Deer Park (5-9 or 6-8)
Taylor (4-10)
Reading (4-10)

Finneytown (1-13, I think Finneytown will get one W over either Taylor or Reading)

Again, Deer Park having crazy stats. They had 31 offensive rebounds but only missed 29 shots? And in the game there were a total of 49 missed shots, and Deer Park has themselves for 55 rebounds?

Some of you getting a little too testy over high school sports. I can't imagine getting in message board arguments over 17 year olds. Chill fellas.

Any who, what's up with Madeira? Cravaack playIng and they barely beat Deer Park? Maybe deer Park is actually good?

Saw the Mariemont -Wyoming game. Mariemont playing without two starters. If those guys had played, I think they may have only lost by 28!

Wyoming has one of the best teams I have seen in the CHL over the last 20 years. Not sure how they do against Alter, Woodward or Taft, but they are really loaded.

DP is much improved with 2 or 3 transfers. Madeira lost two players that were going to be key pieces this year. They quit for football only from what I heard. 7 guys played in the DP game. No depth can be tough.

Sadly, they'll lose as usual to a team like that in an early round of the playoffs. They have a great team but their coach has been unable to prepare them for the significantly more talented teams they face in postseason.

Joey Edmonds is the real deal. Undersized as far as translating to college, but elite skills. Averaging 17 ppg as a Sophomore.

So against Madeira on Tuesday night Deer Park had 31 offensive rebounds on 32 missed shots...they must be really good rebounders - they only missed one chance at a rebound on their side of the court - very impressive! Meanwhile, Madeira had 16 defensive rebounds. Deer Park stats are a complete joke and someone needs to do something about it. Do they have a 3 year old keeping their stats? Their rebound and assist numbers are laughable. I certainly hope that CHL coaches do not consider their player's stats when making all league decisions.

I agree! That is quite ridiculous! The AD needs to put at stop to this right now!

Agreed on Edmonds. He's a stud. Unfortunately he's probably done growing just based on his father's height. Maybe his mom's family has some height. He's not quite as good as CJ Fleming right now, but it could be a similar situation. Fleming is going to D2 Bellarmine. Pretty good QB too, but he may be staying at WR for the rest of his career.

You forgot to count missed FTs....

Kidding. It is indeed ridiculous.

I guess you are right....for now. In the end, it really doesn't matter because the league is pretty terrible this year behind Wyoming and IH. And by the end of the season, in my prediction Reading will have lost to Madeira again (if Cravaack is healthy), IH again, Wyoming twice, Mariemont twice, likely @ Taylor; and I won't be shocked if they drop the second one to Deer Park. You're kidding yourself if you really think Reading will finish 3rd (yes I'll come back to eat crow if needed) and I'm pretty confident Reading and Taylor will battle for 5th in league standings and the gap between those 2 and DP is very narrow this season.

Picks for this weekend:

Friday:

Mariemont by 5-10 at home over Madeira in a big game in the battle for 2nd or 3rd place (if Cravaack is still out)
Wyoming over Deer Park by 25.

Saturday:

Cincinnati Christian over Taylor by 30
Hughes over IH by 5
Badin over Finneytown by 40
Deer Park in a close one over Williamsburg
Madeira over Seven Hills in a close one

Went 7-0 and predictions were somewhat in the ballpark except my Badin by 40 (won by 21) and Madeira/Seven Hills being close.

This league is pretty predictable right now. I'm not sure Taylor will get to 5 wins.
