Jeremy Hill carried me. I ended up having to play both Cooks and Gurley due to Julio being out. To my good fortune, my opponent's team laid a bigger egg than mine. With Julio out and losing Gronk a couple weeks ago, I was lucky to advance to the championship this week. I really need Brees to wake the hell up.

Brees killed me two weeks in a row and I also lost Gronk in a bigger paying league. Sucks only having arguably the biggest weapon in football for roughly 4 weeks of your season.

Wow, I wouldn't have guessed in a million years that i would win a fantasy football playoff match-up with Brees putting up 4.48 and Julio not playing, but it just happened.

On to the Semi-finals in both leagues.

Big Ben at Cinci or Eli at home vs. Lions

leaning towards Eli but even he put up a stinker at home vs. Dallas who is like 28th in the league vs the pass.

Steelers vs Bengals is always a low-scoring, knock down, drag out type of game and Ben usually doesn't do much.

Can Eli bounce back?

thoughts?

Welcome to my world. Brees has to bounce back after 2 awful weeks, right? I have Carr on my bench, but that's a tough move to make.

I'll take Ben. Eli is a constant study in mediocrity. Ben has his off weeks, but can always hit for a big one and Cinci's pass defense is iffy.

I think Brees will bounce back he is on a history no touchdown stretch. Wondering what gonna happen with Julio, I don't think I can win it without him this week.

I traded for him and Gronk this year, but have somehow made it to 9-4 in the regular season and the league championship. On top of that, I drafted Gurley and Alshon 1 and 2!

I had a rough year as I lost all 3 of my running backs to injury in week 2. I also had two wrs who underperformed in Hearns from Jax and Snead from New Orleans. I finally got Doug Martin back from injury a few weeks ago and I somehow made the playoffs in a 14 team league with a 6-7 record. I won this past weekend and I am now in the semifinals with a 7-7 record. I am not wild about playing in such a big league because if you get serious injury problems then there is very little help on the waiver wire since every starting running back in the league is taken.

I have T. Pryor who did nothing last week with RG III as qb. Pryor has done well for me this year but his production is a concern with RG III playing since he is not a good passer. I may have to bench Kelvin Benjamin and Pryor since they are both shaky starts this week. Thoughts on Pryor this week versus the Bills?

The Bills pass D is better than the Redskins pass D that Benjamin faces. It's also tough to tell what kind of chemistry Pryor has with RGIII. On the other hand, Benjmin has been awful the last month. Tough call.

I somehow won my playoff game with...

Forte going out -- 0 points
Dez losing me points ... (-1)
and I had Julio so luckily I was able to get him out of the line up and put in Nelson
I sat Rogers and started Winston who had his worse game in his career...

I am trying to pick up Powell (banking on forte won't return) but that might be high risk to start him since I am loaded at RB but I would rather have him on my bench then my opponent getting him and starting him.

What is your opinion on Powell going up against Miami Defense?

Booker, Ingram, and Terrence West all laid eggs for me (2.6 points or less) last week so I'm scrambling for a RB2. I picked up TJ Yeldon in place of West but am not sure if he's worth starting over Ingram.

At Flex, I'm considering Crabtree (usually reliable but has a finger injury/coming off a poor outing), Michael Thomas (coming off an injury), and Stefon Diggs.

Would you pick up one of these free agents and Flex them over any of those options?

-Taylor Gabriel
-Dontrelle Inman
-Adam Thielen

3 spots (1 RB, 2 flex) for:
Rashard Jennings vs Detroit
Rob Kelley vs Carolina
Micheal Thomas vs. Arizona
Deandre Hopkins vs. Jax
Jerrick McKinnon vs. Indianapolis

I'm leaning towards Kelley, Thomas, McKinnon.

I might consider Gabriel if Julio is out, but I'd probably stick to Crabtree against an iffy SD pass defense or Diggs against Indy.

I like Kelley over Jennings, then Hopkins and McKinnon.

Here are my dilemmas-

Jeremy Hill (vs. Pitt) or Gurley (vs. SEA) at RB2.
Whoever is left over from Hill and Gurley at flex, or Sammy Watkins (@ Browns), Brandon Cooks (@at AZ) or Alshon (vs. GB).

Right now, everyone seems to have Hill ahead of Gurley.

I think I am going Hill at RB2 and with Watkins as my flex.

Tough to tell where AJ is now, so I might hold off on him. Hill seems to be the consensus pick of those 3.

I would be starting him at a flex spot. Don't laugh, these are the options; AP, Mike Wallace, Charles Sims, Martellus Bennett. Starting RB's would be Ware, T. Coleman.

I think AP will get a touchdown, but not much else. Currently going with Mike Wallace.

That makes sense. He's the safest play. Bennett is maddening in his inconsistency.

AJ Green not playing so that should ease you decision.

I'd go Reed.

Fate helped the rest of my decisonmaking as Julio being out thrusts both Watkins and Cooks into my lineup.

Thanks to Brees and Cooks, I picked up the win despite starting AP and his 2.3 points.
