Jesus you live that close to me? Now I have to move.

That being said, Carl's is dope.

Yesterday for lunch:
Mulligan Pub Belden Village Area 7/8
The huge mushrooms and horseradish sauce is a meal alone, with a bowl of Lobster Bisque … make for a great lunch

However I miss the pulled pork BBQ sandwich they had a few years ago.
Doesn’t that piss you off when there was something you really enjoyed, you find out it off the menu. Like what happen to the Chilis Awesome Blossom I have no reason to go to Chilis anymore.

Logan's Roadhouse (Myrtle Beach)

5.5/8

Had a late dinner last night. I've seen ads for Logan's Roadhouse on here many times but didn't have any close by. Finally had a chance to stop at one last night. The meal was decent but was virtually the same as Texas Roadhouse and Brown Derby Roadhouse. Guessing they are somehow related with only minor differences. Food was decent. Service was very good.

+1

It was a sad day when they closed their Western Hills location.

I just checked out their website, looks pretty good. I've worked in Norwood for years, not far from this place and never knew it existed. Is it carry-out only? They have some unusual sandwiches on their menu. Any favorites you would recommend?

Kraus Pizza on 30th St. in Canton.

5.5/8

The little pizza shop that thinks it's a neighborhood bar. It's my prize for getting the car registration renewed next door. Simple hot Italian sub done pretty well. Very nice roll, key to a good sub. Not something I'd direct someone too, but nice to get in and out in 30 minutes after I spent half an hour at the BMV next door. I've never actually had the pizza from this location, but 2 other ones I've been to make a good pie. Nice little local chain.

Just tried Grove Park Grille. Very nice atmosphere. Food was great. A little pricey for everyday, but definitely worth it for an occasional outing with friends or family. If you like goetta, try their goetta croquettes.

Never go to that BMV go to the one in North Canton much quicker. Kraus Pizza Shop. 30th is just that a little local, neighborhood place to go. I will stop in maybe once or twice a year, nothing great but a nice change.

I typically make my own. Their pulled pork bbq is decent but the drive down to Eli's or Pontiac is worth it.

Cheddar's: 5/8, food is fine but for some reason it annoys me how they price their food $2-$3 lower than other comparable chains, but then hike up the price on the alcohol so it all evens out in the end.

Northgate in Cincinnati. It's a chain, didn't think the location really mattered.

Surprised that place is still in business. It was terrible 5-7 yrs ago.

Slightly more expensive, sides aren't as good but they have a good bourbon selection.

It opened about a year ago. Or are you referring to the entire mall itself?

There is one opening up in the Centerville/Kettering area and I thought that they might have opened. Sorry. I hope to visit when it opens up.

As EP noted, there is seating but not much. When it is warm they have 2-3 tables for 2 outside and seating inside for roughly 12-15, but it gets pretty tight when busy. I usually try to go before 12/after 1 and I get it to go and eat at my place. Just easier that way.

In terms of suggestions, I typically stick with the 23(country club) but Ive tried the 1 and 4 and both were solid. They also do a meatball sub which was decent. They mix in different soup options, with my favorite being the loaded potato. Also like the lasagna and turkey tetrazini they have on occasion.

There used to be a cheddars on Rt 4 near the Princeton Hill office complex years ago. Maybe they moved or closed and reopened?

That place has been opened for a few years. BCB can tell us the accurate time, I'm pretty sure he is a regular there.

That place sucks.

At most it's been open about 2 years. In fact I think it was Spring of 2014 probably. It's like most chains, nothing wrong with it IMO.

EP, I don't know about the one on route 4. I have no recollection of a Cheddar's being there.

I think it was around fall of '13. That place is usually packed on weekends though, it must be doing all right. I've only been there once about a year ago, remember it being pretty standard

Yeah, it's insane what people will do for entrees priced $2-$3 less than the comparable chains. It was packed constantly for a long time, to the point we'd never even think about going. I think now that the newness has worn off it's a little less crowded.

I refuse to go to a wing place that doesn't serve beer. And it's not close enough to home to just pick it up to go.

Carl's is one of my favorite places to go especially because I can walk down the street. The employees are really friendly too.
