Also finally got Gamecenter this season. Find myself watching a lot more non-Pens games. Looks great through my Chromecast, too.

DirecTV Center Ice is a much better value imo. $140 and you get everything in HD without having to rely on an internet connection

I like having the option to watch on devices. Plus I can bypass blackouts with a vpn

Got this too. Well worth it. They rarely blackout Jets games so I am all about that.

But since I am not tech savvy, I still have the blackouts haha

vypr vpn is pretty nice if you're willing to pay like $8 a month. You can use it on your phone and tablet as well your computer. Gives you access to blacked out games and Netflix from other countries (or US stuff if you're traveling outside the country). Only downside is you sometimes can't connect to Chromecast while its running.

Pens finally broke through with a win. Malkin ended his like 15 game pointless run with a goal. Sprong scored his first career goal. Johnston finally benched Scuderi, and Daniel Sprong looks like a future stud.

They keep improving with each game, but the Kunitz-Crosby-Kessel line is still looking weak. They need to drop Kunitz down to like the 3rd line or something. He's not good.

If they keep adjusting the lines and improving their chemistry, they'll be fine. I think they can win the next couple against the Leafs and Panthers.

Pens are not looking good at all so far this year. Same with the Jackets..

But we all know, next month they could be unstoppable

Three in a row now for the Pens. Crosby finally looked alive tonight and he and Kessel seem close to figuring things out. Malkin has three goals now. Defense is still a bit shaky, though. They really need to drop Scuderi from the lineup entirely. He's god awful.

Columbus is 0-7-0. Bobrovsky is a sieve and their D sucks. So disappointing, thought they'd be able to win the Metro this year. Todd Richards will probably be fired by this time next week, rumour is Tortorella may take the job, which actually sounds like a decent fit

Habs are 7-0-0, forced St. Louis into like 50 turnovers tonight. Once Montreal gets up by a goal teams start panicking because they have to score at least 2 goals on Price. Fun to watch

Columbus looks like they're headed right for the top spot in the lottery. I wonder if the Pens could trade for Jack Johnson. They need a veteran d-man who isn't completely useless.

They need like two solid defensemen and semi decent play from Bob and they'd be fine.

A little yelling and screaming from Tortorella might be what they need

The problem with Tortorella is he's an as*hole and is pretty much hated by every organization he's ever worked in, despite his success. He could be a spark or he could just make things worse.

Keith Duncan out for 4-6 with a torn meniscus. Blackhawks already off to a meh start, this doesn't help.

Jackets officially fire Richards and bring in Tortorella. Did I call it or did I call it.?

Just saw the Jackets had 6 power plays in the 3rd period last night, did not score on any of them and still gave up three goals to the Isles in the period. Holy crap!

They aren't out of it at all. Last year they were like 25 points out of it at one point and still almost made the playoffs. They have a really good team, just need to play defense and not suck.

Key word almost.. But I agree with you, it's WAY too early for anyone to be out of it

If Andrew Hammond hadn't played out of his mind for Ottawa for three months CBJ would have been in easily.

All and all, the Jackets needed to stay healthy last year and that didn't happen. It would be nice to see them relevant this year though.

Actually heading up to Columbus on Halloween to see the Jets play. Maybe the Jackets will be 0-12 by then

Imagine if you are Saad. Go from winning Cup and playing on a perennial cup contender for a great coach, five months later you've been traded to Columbus and play for Tortorella, the biggest dick in hockey. He is rich as hell now though.

What a meltdown for the Sens tonight. Up 4-2 with 6 minutes left. Devils score, resort to a 6 on 5 for the last minute of regulation and Stepniak puts one home with 30 seconds left to go to overtime. No score in the OT. Shootout goes 4 shots, where Ryan was the only one on the Sens who looked like he knew what he was doing. The other three go for the five hole and miss badly. Then Stepniak buries one for the win. Great end of the game for him

Good. Don't like the Sens or Mark Stone. NJ is terrible.
