Why every 3 days and not once a month?

At the end of the day it really doesn't matter, but I would rather make multiple smaller payments instead of one big one. It turns out to be every 3-5 days, typically turns out to be a thur/fri and then against mon/tues time frame.

I was like 15 years old when I noticed this in my dad's wallet. I thought...geesh dad, you've been married for 20 years-I'm sure you don't need to carry one around...get a new billfold-that's embarrassing.....

I should add that my dad was a minister.....

I rarely have more than $20
4 credit cards
2 rewards cards
Drivers license
Insurance card

Speaking of what is in your wallet:

Got my card info stolen....AGAIN. The first time it happened, the fall of 2017, prompted me to get a credit card for the first time since late 1999. Luckily this time it was caught on the first time someone trying to use it.

Anyone have an idea of how long it takes for the thieves to use your info ocne they get it? Just trying to point it down to when it possibly happened. Thinking at a gas station in Celina Ohio but who knows.

The bank said "a new one will be send in 3-5 business days" I asked if I could get it quicker with the holiday weekend coming around and they said "yeah, we can expedite it to next day for free".

I was like...WTH, why don't you offer that first then? I know the answer, but still should be standard practice.

Have had this happen twice recently myself.

First time I am sure it was because I checked into one of those free iphone scams on line.

Second time may have been McDonalds in Indiana. (Wife hates when I use a credit card at fast food joints)

Me, some homeless people, and people who need free wi-fi or air-conditioning.

I rarely need it for the library itself, but I can access plenty of online materials at home w/ my library card (databases, movies, music, etc).

dollars to donuts I don't know what that is but I've said before what mine is. Same as Raymos' but it has more to do with traveling than anything else. Easy to get out of a sock or money belt.

ANyone else remember when donuts didn't actually cost dollars? I ought to put that in the "gone" thread.

Never much approached in Turkey or what little of Mexico I've been in but China, now there was a place they'd keep cutting at your pack even as you looked them straight in the eye. Always double bag.

You don't know the Costanza wallet?

Ya gotta catch that episode!

I have a small money metal 'wallet' with money clip thing. Step daughter got it for me last year and I love the wallet thing. Its perfect.

I never carry it in my back pocket...always the front.
