They have been around for around 37 years. Bart does a great job with those kids. My son was on it a few years ago and he had a great experience.

Jerry took a group of local kids to wrestle in Russia in the early 90's

Pardue, was Cincinnai's finest. Is he still around???? Haven't seen him in years. Also, is the Shumate that wrestles for Coffman, John Shumate, the old newspaper guys relation?

Pardue eventually became the coach at Wilmington College and then Carleton College in Minnesota. After that, he went to seminary and last I heard was still alive and is an Episcopalian priest.

I was on that trip. Memory of a lifetime. We didn't wind up going into Russia because of Visa troubles after the wall came down and the end of the cold war. But top notch experience nonetheless! Jerry was one of the most influential people on my wrestling career.
