Sorry to all that thought I was gassing the boys (or felt it necessary to be sarcastic) but most definitely not. I just saw that there were other 7th graders mentioned and Nehemiah is in the 7th grade. I just wanted the list to be all inclusive is all. And no, they will not be held back.

Thanks!

I will be interested to see if Boom and/or Julien follow Collin to DeSales. Getting a few hammers in his first class would sure help kickstart things.

I have not seen much in the way of analysis on here. Which of these studs can make some noise next year?? Probably gonna be the middle weights between 96 and 120 I would assume....because the little ones are too small and the big ones will face upperclassmen. So who ya got?

Max Ray. 5x OAC champ. Gotta be considered as a "noisemaker."

How many will be starting next year? Kuhn is the 1st one I saw - he should do well. Hermes coming in pretty light to Edison - not sure where all the new ones are going to fit into that lineup. Ginter holding back and repeating 8th grade. Simcoe will be at least district qualifier. Surprised to see kralik listed as Elyria or Edís - going to be tough to find a spot in either lineup around the 138-145 mark. Ray will make noise depending on where he is. Think trinski is SOL on starting. Snider will be high on podium next year! Kid is a beast!

Kralik and Trinski both could fit in Elyriaís lineup. Looking at Elyriaís last year lineup 138 Zuckerman is gone, 145 was back up after Crace left, 152 Munguia is 16 year old kid who is still growing so could go up weight, 160 back up after Muhammed left. So Elyriaís needs to fill 138, 145, 160 looking quick at lineup.
Max maybe a little light coming in for Edison but he will be fine at 106 beside Brecksville there schedule toughness is a little light. Max maybe light at start of season by state he will grow into 106 and be just fine placing for Edison.

Definitely didn't mean to leave him off the 3x list that's such a great accomplishment. All the kids on this list are really good wrestlers. Placing at all is very tough let alone doing it 2 and 3 times. Looking at the freshman this year that were 2x placers, most of them did very well this year. Someone asked the question who and how many would have an impact next year I'd say this is a great list to start from. Top one on my list would be Boots VanDyke

Many talented kids, for sure. But to answer the question, I donít think we will see nearly as many freshmen make an impact next year. Last/this yearís incoming class was REALLY good.

You saying none of your kids from last year are going to grow and move up a weight? Both burnett boys look pretty big to go 120 and 132 again. What about the other 3 going to elyria? They fit in? Vinnie, wells (possible) and norwood?

I would say Vinnie fits at 106 unless Peyton doesn’t grow more and Noel (not sure weight) decides he going to try 106. Nate and Mick Burnett, plus Shawver will fit some where 126, 132, 138 I would guess. Maybe one goes 145 and leaves hole at 138. But 138, 145, 152, 160 are holes needing filled. 138 could get taking from past starters growing which is likely. Kralik if came I think he could end up like Zuckerman in lineup but not at best weight for him. Trinski would fit a little easier because he is right in middle of those missing weight classes. Wells ? have not seen him in room or parents on freestyle nights so not sure if he is coming or what he weighs. Levis 220 was senior and will be gone to so that’s a hole also. Not sure Norwood and Wells could fit that. The guys that was back ups are showing up to practice and these young freshman will have to wrestle off them for a spot. It’s early a few parents said there coming and a few are still deciding some none of the kids mentioned are locks until next year school comes around.

I can say northern Ohio has had some strong freestyle numbers 75 to 120 kids showing up to practices. Kids working hard to get to the next level and it’s fun to watch.
