Came across this thread kinda by accident, ohiopup, when the thread title caught my attention.

Here is another (possibly easier) way to test your posts:

You can also see how your posts will look before submitting them by going to the thread where you want to post, clicking 'Post Reply' as you normally would, typing all of your information into the 'Reply to Thread' box (as usual), and by clicking the 'Preview Post' button, which is located below the reply box. A preview of your post will display above the reply box, but you will still have access to making edits within the reply box because it will still be available (with all of your previously typed information still in it) below the post's 'Preview' display.

You can edit your post and click 'Preview Post' as many times as you want. Each time you click 'Preview Post,' you can visually see the changes that you made by inspecting the 'Preview' post that displays above the reply box.

When you are satisfied that the post looks the way that you want it to, you can then click on the 'Submit Reply' button (as you normally would), which is also located below the reply box.

Also, if you get logged out because you've taken too long to prepare your post, you can just log right back in to Yappi (from the same page that says that you've been logged out), and your preview post should still be there (ready to edit further, if you wish). But, I'm sure you already know about sometimes being automatically 'logged-out' and that, occasionally, a post is lost anyways.

Hope this helps!

Raymo...

BAM is a slang acronym in the USMC which translates to 'Broad Ass Marine'
referring to a Woman Marine. Never to be used in mixed company!

077 Little Deuce Coupe - The Beach Boys (1963)

In the summer of 1963, Capitol Records compiled a "hot rod" compilation album called Shut

Down, including the Beach Boys' song of the same name and "409"—without their approval or

involvement.

Brian Wilson promptly readied several songs he had already been working on

(mainly with radio DJ Roger Christian) and the band hastily went through recording sessions to

put Little Deuce Coupe on the record shop racks, remarkably, one month after Surfer Girl had

come out. Eight of the tracks were new, while "Little Deuce Coupe", "Our Car Club", "Shut

Down" and "409" had all come out on one of their previous three albums.

The 1932 Ford that appeared on the cover, pictured in 2006
A Deuce Coupe is a 1932 Ford Coupe (deuce being for the year). This was considered by many to

be the definitive "hot rod". The Model B had four cylinders and the Model 18 featured the Ford

flathead V8 engine when the car was introduced. A pink slip (mentioned in the lyrics) was the

title to the car, named for the color of the paper then used in California [4]

The picture featured on the front cover of the album was supplied by Hot Rod magazine, and

features the body (with his head cropped in the photo) of hod-rod owner Clarence 'Chili'

Catallo and his own customized three-window 1932 Ford Coupe – known to hot rod enthusiasts as

"the lil' deuce coupe".[5][6]

Larry Snyder

High School: Won the State 1914 high jump Track & Field

Snyder took up flying after finishing high school and became a pilot instructor
during WW-I for the Army Air Corps. (seems like Canton boys like airplanes)

Returing from the service he enrolled at Ohio State (1922) where he excelled in
Track. Snyder qualified for the 1924 US Olympic team as a runner, but sustained
an injury in a plane accident prior to leaving for Paris. Thus ended his hope of
an athletic career, leaving him to coach and train others in Track and Field.

He went on to coach at Ohio State from 1932 to 1965 with a 3 year interruption due
to WW-II ('43 ~ '45) were he served as aviation instructor for the US Navy.
