Tom Tupa.
Brecksville Bees.
At the horseshoe.

Those three tid bits and Tupa kicking long FGs in pregame are pretty much all I remember!

This has been discussed to death but I fail to see any benefit of putting 1st graders in shoulder pads and helmets. I think it was 2016 which was Temple's last season that Celina had the lowest football numbers 9-12 than anyone else in the county. I've probably brought that up at least 5 times. Not to mention that Celina has become a soccer school and in reality, that's what killed their football program

Sorry, my mocking font wasn't working when I posted that.

Biggest thing people need to get out of this is....you dont need youth football to have a good HS program. It doesn't correlate. Yeah, there are great HS programs who have youth programs, and many that dont.
MAC country is prime example.

and if people though daddy ball was bad in baseball, multiply it by 24 when it comes to football. Their parents take it way too seriously.

One reason why I think it is different than youth baseball and basketball is that in those two sports the skills at the positions transfer over to the others and the basic principles are the same so when kids grow and mature they can easily switch positions and play diff ones in any game. Not so much in football.

I sensed the sarcasm. It takes a long time to get good at baseball and that's why it needs youth baseball. It takes a lot of reps. Little league baseball was a fun experience. Baskeball too, needs those repetitions. Football is a different story.
