I keep hearing about coaches in trouble for things they did or did not do, might be a chance a coach will not make it through the season.

First Domino to fall will be:
Nate Moore of Massillon Washington, after losing to Canton McKinley in week 10, then losing to North Canton Hoover in the first week of the playoffs. HA HA!!!

I said the same thing last year and it didn't happen but I wouldn't be surprised to see Versailles out of the MAC to be looking for a new coach

I've heard rumblings from quite a few people from the Bluffton community who aren't sold on Jeff Richards as coach. Still pretty early in his tenure there, but seems like people aren't sold on the fact that he knows what he's doing. Could just be angry parents, though most I've talked to don't have kids that young anymore. I guess we'll see.

I'm also curious to see how long the good folks at Delphos Jefferson are willing to give Taviano. This season has been nothing short of a disaster for the Wildcats. I know first years are rough but I'd guess he'll be on a pretty short leash moving forward.

Looks like Joel Cutler at Upper Arlington was placed on Administrative Leave. I think it's a pretty sure bet that job will be open this offseason. Hard to imagine a coach surviving that this day and age.

Monroe job will be open after the season as Brett Stubbs will be retiring. Monroe needs a coach who will stay more than 4-5 years.

I wouldn't be surprised if Taviano resigns. He shouldn't have left Lima Perry. Don't know enough about the Bluffton situation to comment.

I'm sure we can expect quite a few of the following in Cincy area to be open....
Loveland
Lakota West
Hamilton
Princeton??
Withrow
McNick??
Northwest??
Roger Bacon??
Taylor??
North College Hill

And who knows, It's McLaughlin's 2nd year at LaSalle, isn't about time for him to move on also based on his and LaSalle's recent history?

I don't expect a ton of movement in the Columbus area after how fluid the last two offseason were but you never know but....

Upper Arlington -- After Cutler's administrative leave pretty safe to say he won't be back. Does Fox become a shoe in if they end up finishing 2-0 under him and making the playoffs? Probably a bonus if they win a road playoff game under him.

Grove City -- Vanry went from OCC coach of the year to most definately 1-19 in his two years. Hear theres a lot of friction between him and the community. My guess is he's out.

Kilbourne -- Pretty dismal year, low numbers as of late and have only been really competitive once in the past handful of years. Perhaps Trombetti walks on his own accord?

Loveland - Likely out
Lakota West - Big Hire
Hamilton - Likely Out
Princeton?? - Most Intriguing
Withrow - Safe
McNick?? - Safe
Northwest?? - Questionable
Roger Bacon?? - Safe
Taylor?? - In Yr 2, give him time
North College Hill - Safe

I question why you think that Bacon, NCH, and Withrow are safe? None of their coaches have shown any signs of improvement of the programs. I'm just curious as to your logic.

Bacon is joining a new league next year and the Kiner kid will be a Junior

NCH & Withrow are tough places to coach and to find coaches and I don't expect them to be firing anyone who is willing to coach at those two schools. Also, much like RB, Withrow will likely be back in CMAC in year or two and NCH should be moving to smaller side of MVC conference next year.

Uh, who?!?

- - - - -

Not the current coach’s fault that GC isn’t even respectable. Of the four SWCS schools, only Westland would be a tougher gig than Grovetucky. 5-10 years ago, it would’ve been the best job. Problem for GC is an incredibly toxic community, along with the fact that there is no talent.

Why do every one of your threads start with your screen name-- is it essential for the thread to have your name in it, for some reason?

And why do every one of your posts end with you re-stating the obvious (that you are "signing off")-- is that a necessary appendage to every one of your posts?

And why do you feel the need to include a running day counter to the start of the next football season in your signoff, as well?

Just some things I've been wondering about (your posts) for years now-- and just finally had to ask...
