Both teams played selfless, and for each other, they all have a lot to be proud of.
I agree. In fact I would go a step further and say that the sportsmanship by all the teams has been quite good. Win or lose, so far all I've seen are class acts on the field. Very refreshing.

ML played great d and had too many weapons on offense for the Hornets.

In 2015, each of these teams fumbled twice - K recovered all four!

This year the ball was loose on a muffed punt by K and a fumble by the Flyers - ML recovered both. Sometimes the ball bounces your way - sometimes not.

The Flyer pass rush was highly effective - I'm guessing downfield coverage was a big part of that.

Both teams appeared to play a clean game with lots of respect shown by kids on both sides - it was nice to see that.

Nate Bruns and Nick Tangeman were dominant for the Flyers - ML could really stretch the field with its passing attack in a way that the Hornets couldn't.

ML loses a lot of seniors - tough kids - who showed up big time this year. However, they return the majority of their skill players - Bruns, Tangeman, Rethman, Habodasz - and should be explosive offensively in 2018.

Congratulations to Tim Goodwin on yet another fantastic season.
