From what I'm hearing, it's going to be one of the Oak Ridge Boys.

The OLine and Dline are what won Alliance the NBC/EBC title. I look for that to continue with good coaching

Last year lines played well

Lost 4 of 5 starters on o-line (Oldfield) only one back
Not knocking them at all. Just have to replace graduated lineman

They did the best they could with what they had at the O-line spot. I was shocked that line held up at all, testament to putting kids in the right spot to be successful I suppose.

I agree, now have to get 4 new guy to jell with Oldfield
We ran the ball very well. Team chemistry is huge, playing for the guy next to you is a must.
My 2 cents Alexender is a dude, and I look for huge things out of him. A healthy Baker and a more involved Seals and the O could take flight.

EBC will IMO come down to week 10 once again

A home playoff game would be nice... as long as we don’t have to shell out more cash to UMU

I can see the Aviators taking care of business in the EBC, but to get a home game they will have to take care of business in the NC games. Will the NC schedule be as brutal in 2019?? The didn't pose much of a challenge to Hubbard in 2018 and Canfield in 2017 and 2018. I don't know if those teams will be as good but they will probably have to at least split with them to get a home game (I would think).

Wow! It looks like a tough NC schedule. Hubbard and Canfield are always good. Other posts indicate that Niles is up and coming. Chardon seems to be a playoff team in most years and sometimes D2. There are certainly no easy ones early on. Whiting wants more than a playoff team, he wants to be prepared to make a run in the playoffs.

Hopefully the OL will be ready. Last year it took some weeks to gel but once they got good. Defense should be a bright spot once again for the Aviators, after the week 1-2 beatdowns, the defense played lights out

Hard NL schedule for sure. Aviators will be tested . Brandon is definitely an up and coming QB. He’s a big kid with a big arm

I’d personally like to see how hard he could throw a baseball... lol

Niles still years away no talent, but Hubbard and Canfield is tough for anyone

Thanks for the update, I didn't know much about Niles. My guess is Chardon will be good too. Still a really good schedule for the Aviators.

Great schedule, especially the OOC games.
Having that type of schedule last year really helped the Aviators.

As an old timer, I miss you guys playing the Cats. We actually did a stretch of 10 years in a row playing you guys at Hartshorn. (not many remember it being called that)

Anybody know what y’all pay to use that stadium?
Love the home side with the covered grandstand.

Good luck to the Flyers this season.

Yes theyíre a playoff team most years, really good ooc schedule, I believe thatís why they hit fire last year in conference play because the step down in competition to what they were playing early on got them ready more then other schools.

Thank goodness we have the best in booth coaches around
Really make the on field guys look good.
Aviators “ran” through the EBC last year. Hawkins will graduate
Who’s the next RB to step up ?

I agree, the cohesion between the coaches mid year really jelled for Alliance, whiting has put together a great staff.

Next back to step up has to be Baker. Heís a kid that probably would have been the back last year if it wasnít for injury. I look for young sophomore Carva Hancock and potentially a Freshman to make some noise.

Wow.... that's a hell of a lot of money.
Pretty much going down the drain. Not a whole lot left over for the program.

It's a great place to watch a game.
However, I hope the plans go through for a stadium at the high school.
Your program deserves it's own place to call home.
Plus you keep that money in your athletic department.

Hope it comes along and quick.

Good luck to the Aviators this year.

Way too much money to play there. Hard to have a true home field advantage playing at Mount.
I know the Aviators have lost games prior due to missed Field goals or extra points due to college width goal post
Anyway maybe by time my youngest play we’ll have a true home field

is the proposed new facility planned to go right behind the high school?

reason I ask is if so - the practice area behind the high school is actually elevated

would be cool to see them dig out and use the elevation as natural riser for bleachers (kind of like LAKE)
