The official Bellbrook 5-0 @ valley view 3-2

The tale of the tape

Bellbrook 5-0 # 2 D111 region 11

Week 1. @ (3-2)Tipp 17-9 win
Week 2. @ (0-5) Fairborn 42-0 win
Week 3. H (3-2) Tecumseh 26-0 win
Week 4. H (3-3) waynesville 49-6 win
Week 5. H (1-4) Franklin 21-17 win

Valley view 3-2 9th DV region 16

Week 1 @ (3-2) Wilmington 50-26 win
Week 2 @ (2-3) fort recovery 27-23 loss
Week 3 H (5-0) Madison 24-16 loss
Week 4 @ (2-3) oakwood 31-7 win
Week 5 H (0-5) Monroe 21-0 win

Valley view has won the last 2 games and essentially knocked B.B. out of playoffs both times . B.B. is coming off of a bit of a let down performance against Franklin in which they gave up 17 points in the final 5:30 of the 1st half of the game , they gave up nothing before or after that time period . They look to get back to form and an opportunity to run the table if they get past vv
The defense is good , the offense is led by Ferguson, Sloan and labenski .

Valley view has 2 loses but they’ve played Madison a state power in D5 and fort recovery a tough Mac team . They are battle tested abd know how to score. Germantown will be rocking! This is a great rivalry and great atmosphere, excited for the game .

My prediction;

B.B. 24
Vv 21

This will be a great game in the SWBL. Two old rivals, both battling for the SW Division Title, with playoff spots hanging in the balance. What more can we want? I expect a close game either way. I actually favor Valley View playing at home, but BB won't be easy to beat. VV is dealing with some injuries, hoping to hear kids will be back for Friday night.

Uh I say Valley View only because they are the home team. Home field is a large advantage in high school.

Think I’ll have to make a trip to see this one. Have already seen Valley View when they played Madison. Definitely a tough team and gave Madison all they could handle. Both teams that night had ball security issues but the heavy rain probably played a factor in that.

If the Valley View QB has time he has quite an arm. He hit Madison on a couple deep passes with accuracy. So the key is to keep him moving in the pocket. He has decent speed but I wouldn’t call him a “dual-threat” if that makes any sense.
Defensively valley view liked to load the box and sell out on the run. Again that is probably more telling of who they played that evening. They have pretty decent speed on defense and good tackling.

Havnt seen Bellbrook. Are they a power running team? If so they can have some success against thisnValleu View D. From the scores I’ve seen it sounds like Bellbrook plays some defense. Allowing 9 points to Tipp is pretty impressive.

This game looks to be for all the marbles in the SWBL. Just gonna take a stab here and say that BB comes away from Barker Field will a hard fought W. Something like a 28-20 score.
