Miami vs Clemson for the ACC title is an elimination game for either of the 2. Clemson could have a problem vs South Carolina today.

-Alabama needs to beat Auburn and Georgia. Georgia Tech/Georgia is a rivalry game. Bamas LBs are beat up so this is a 50/50 game with Auburn.

-Oklahoma needs to win out.

-Beat Michigan then beat Wisconsin.

It’s clear as can be now that they have a shot.

Ok right on with that. Clemson beating Miami is better.
If bama and okie win out there's your other two.
Now it comes down to all 2 loss teams.
Georgia and auburn would have lost their last game...out
ND...nope
PAC wusses aren't getting in over the B1G this yr sorry come again next yr!
If it plays out like we said I don't know how you keep the bux out.

If OSU is 0-11, and they were all good losses, why not put OSU in playoffs?

That would be impossible to have all good losses, because they play Big 10 teams.

Food for thought... Alabama loses today and there is no way they will be one of the final four teams

I still predict Bama will be in. The go 11-1 in the SEC- lose at Auburn. They won't fall further than 4th next Tuesday. Auburn/Georgia winner is in 100% ACC winner is in and Buckeyes cannot jump a 2 loss Sooner team (If they lose to TCU- Sooner are crushing West Virginia

What has Bama done to get in? They have 2 top 25 wins.

Here is the thing to consider though, what is Alabamas best win.. LSU? Mississippi St?

If they lose tonight at 11-1.. they don't have any wins that would get them in over a potential conference champ with two top 10 wins(Two teams more than likely currently ranked in the top 10.. saying OSU beats Wisconsin)

The committee has proven that they will go with the best WINS... Sorry but Alabama doesn't have many of those on their resume... SEC will only get one team this year, and it may just be that the Tide are on the outside looking in. Ignore the eye test, because the eye test is the third or fourth factor.

Based on resume alone, Alabama doesn't have it compared to the other teams... which would make my day. I would love nothing more than to see the committee have Alabama on the outside looking in

What you posted makes 100% sense. However,... it's Bama. The committee is human. If Texas A & M has that resume, they're out. Bama- they're in. Bama has enough football equity the last decade to get the benefit of the doubt. Not how I feel. Just my prediction on how the committee looks at it

Alabama didn't lose at home or on the road by 35. So they deserve to be in with 1 loss over any 2 loss team. I like how Ohio st fans act like the Iowa loss never happened.

Only 10 FBS wins, no conference championship game, only 2 top 25 wins. If Clemson loses to Miami, they still have a much better resume than Bama.

If Wisconsin loses the big 10 game it will be a combination of 1-2 or 2-1 ACC/SEC teams and then Oklahoma. If Wisconsin wins the teams in the playoffs will be (in no specific order) : Wisconsin, Oklahoma, SEC champ, and ACC champ.

I watched two teams today that are mirror images. Good defense, decent running game, and a QB that can't throw the football. Alabama is Michigan in crimson. Say whatever you want about OSU, but Bama is very overrated. Oklahoma is #1 and then you might as well blind draw the next 3.

I love the Buckeyes, but they don't deserve a playoff spot this season based on their resumé and regardless of what happens next week. I won't be upset if they don't get the nod.

Bama losing hurts Ohio State’s chance(s)with the playoffs. I have a feeling there will be two SEC teams in the playoffs.

Auburn deserves to be in if they beat Bama and Georgia twice.

After the League Championship games, i see...

(1) Clemson
(2) Oklahoma
(3) Auburn
(4) Alabama

If Ohio State beats Wisconsin, the Big 10 is out.

Only 10 FBS wins? Why not just say they played an FCS team? Not much different than the UNLV team Ohio st beat. And Alabama doesn't have an embarrassing 30 point loss on their resume.

This year's B1G is better than the SEC, not even close. It would be ridiculous for the Big 10 to get shut out with two SEC teams.
