Congrats to Summit - State Champion

Congratulations to Summit Country Day for winning the 2017 DIII state championship

This is perhaps their most impressive after losing so many seniors last year. Although their midfield was still the States best, and the center mid is near the top, ask other positions had New starters this year.

Clearly not as dominating as last 2 years, but good enough.

Will done boys!

Thanks for bringing a boys championship to Cincinnati.

Congrats also to Beavercreek for bringing a championship to southwest Ohio.

And congrats to the Summit girls on their State Championship.

And to Indian Hills and Loveland - 3 Cincinnati girls state championships

Yes. Nice to have all those champions in Cincinnati. Congratulations to all.
Summit boys' coach said their defense carried them this year. I believe they allowed fewer goals than either the 2015 or 2016 Summit teams.

I'll add my congrats to this Summit team. Agreed that it didn't have the fire power of other recent champions, but the boys played with great athleticism, intelligence and discipline. The defense was every bit as good as past champions, and you don't have to win by 8 or 9 goals. A salute to the coaches who annually create a team that makes so few mistakes and is prepared to take advantage of opportunities. A salute to the players for classy as well as high-level play.

Team loses some more outstanding and very experienced seniors to graduation, but there were plenty of strong young players. The standards at Summit will remain high.

Congratulations on another state championship.
