Not a bad night for the PAC. Sight unseen, I'd have predicted the PAC would go 5-3 this week, but only 5 of the games went the way I expected.

Is West Holmes that much improved this year, or is it looking like a down year for Triway?

A little of both. West Holmes could win 6 games. COULD. Athletic and solid up front. Won't beat Wooster and Ashland. They'll compete in all the others I think.

Triway is an absolute mess. Scored on one good run late and a broken play scramble by the QB. They moved the ball on occasion. Shot themselves in the foot with botched plays, lazy play, and dumb penalties. The running back got kicked out for running onto the field and pushing a player from behind after an altercation. The defense was terrible. They were undisciplined. Didn't fill gaps. Defensive line running past plays. Linebackers running away from the ball. DBs getting toasted by a more athletic team because they played man coverage almost every play. Looked like junior high football on that side of the ball at times. Triway will struggle to win any pac games if this play continues.

I was there. Both teams looked decent. Sandy made fewer mistakes. The game was closer than the score makes it look.

CVCA @ Aurora[B] CVCA 34 Aurora 24 CVCA does not schedule this game if they don't think they can hang with "this years" Aurora team.
Fairless vs. Tusky Valley TV-21 Fairless 14. TV grinds out first downs 3.5 yards at a time.
Loudonville @ Chippewa Loudenville 35 Chippewa 28 REdbirds were the best 0-10 team I saw last year
Manchester vs. Indian Valley IV 35 Manchester 21, Only because Ethan Wright will score 3 times
Northwest vs. Canton South NW moves to 2-0, south lost a lot of good players.
Orrville vs. North Orville big over North 56-0
Triway vs. Smithville Triway 21 Smithies 14. Triway finds a way.
Tuslaw @ West Holmes West Holmes 42 Tuslaw 21 Tuslaw wont be able to stop West Holmes.

If Wright can get some help with the passing game it'll be a little easier to pull the upset. Still no official word on Foster. Johnson only threat in passing game. He also can help on the ground, if they give it to him other than counters. Soles is capable as a WR. Freshman RB Johnston is no threat filling in for Foster at FB.

Pure Pick'em game. I will say that each team scores 35+ with Triway possibly missing 2 or 3 kids, I'll go with Smithville.

Smithville looked HORRIBLE against East Canton... This gimmick offense they are running is NOT gonna work with ZERO returning skill players. Strength for Smithville should be the offensive line, returning 3 starters, which would’ve been the perfect time to bring back our traditional wing-t and pound the football... But instead we run a offense that we struggled to run last year with lots of talent and managed just 95 years... -4 passing... I see Triway winning this one

Either Smithville is really bad or East Canton is really good because hadn't East Canton's coach called off the dogs early last week it could have been 60-0 in my opinion.

Easily! Smithvilles defense was non existent. East Canton could’ve hung 70 on the scoreboard. I only counted 1 first down in the 1st half for Smithville. Offensive gameplan is horrible

You sir, are correct. That was not a good Smithville team. Lots of holes. 23 was a tough player. 55 as well. Outside of that there wasn't much to talk about.

Indian Valley must be strong this year. They handled a good Manchester team tonight. Manchester vs CVCA should be a good game.

IVHS is the real deal! And, Manchester is not as good as you think. Many issues. They have some brewing problems.

Manchester won't be challenged by anyone in the PAC until they play CVCA and that might be CVCA's game to lose at this point. Won't count Manchester out because they always find a way to win the PAC. What week is that game? I may leave my comfort zone that week and travel further down the road as the WCAL is really weak this year outside of Hillsdale and Norwayne.

10/26 @CVCA. I'm telling you, there are issues with the Panthers. It,s not going to be easy this year.

They always find a way though. I think it's safe to say they will still have their way with the bottom teams like Triway, Tuslaw, and Loudonville. I don't see them losing to Fairless either.

Orrville and Northwest are intriguing. I don't know how good Orrville is yet with a loss against Wooster and a huge win over a really bad North team. Northwest is looking like they could have things going in the right direction and pose a threat.

I feel like France and crew will have things figured out come PAC play like always.

Eyes, the issues are beyond the normal issues. They have issues that go beyond the field. Let's just say the coaches are not helping solve the issues. I don't think it is proper for me to broadcast the problems on an open forum. Let's just say when you try to solve a potential big problem, you create smaller problems. But, I hope you're correct.

We will find out how good my Indians are this as they play New Philly, a team they haven’t beat since 2011. I think NW could finish anywhere between 5-5 and 8-2.

Did Loudonville graduate many kids last year? I would agree they had some good athletes, I was surprised by their record.

They were a lot of sophomores playing last year. I think they will be much tougher this year.

Why is Manchester not playing this week when they are in a league? Just wondering.

I know that being in a league is not a guarantee of a full schedule, however, scheduling should be a little easier. There could be a good explanation, I just don’t know what it could be. Anyone?
