NFL Week 1

Good to see the Browns break their losing streak. Any other big news week 1?

Just trying to keep track of which players I have on my fantasy team...

Cowboys offense looks pathetic against the Panthers. Dak Prescott not looking very good today.

Not a bad fantasy day other than Fournette having to leave the game. Cost me probably 10+ points. Still scoring well over 100, but the team I'm up against is going off. Will probably score 150+

Prescott with an injured OL and no tight end or receivers is getting exposed. Going to be a long season for the Cowboys.

He definitely didn't have much time but when he did, he was off target. Just a couple of those passes become completions, the Cowboys probably win the game.

Outside of Barkley's big TD run the Giants looked pretty hapless today.

Kizer just took the Packers down the field into the red zone, then turned the ball over. LOL.

Kizer looks like the same Kizer of last season.

Solid week 1 with 2 more games to go!

Mack played well last night but I still believe in 5 years the Raiders will have had the better end of the trade long time.

Browns end their winless streak.

Bengals win, again, on the road in week 1.

Only 1 huge rout that I saw.

We did a knockout contest in the family. Just 4 of us are in it.
It ended after week one!

So I will start up another starting week 2!

thoughts???

I found the Browns/ Steelers game very amusing, neither team wanted to win the game.

Titans/ Dolphins, 7+ hours, Titans lose their QB, best receiver and best O-lineman, maybe for multiple weeks, maybe the season for Walker.

I don't blame the Steeler players for being ticked at Bell. The window of winning is closing in Pittsburgh,

Looks like we've got a QB controversy in Tampa Bay. Ryan Fitzpatrick looked great yesterday.

Jimmy G?? Maybe not put that bust of him in Canton just yet?

Kurt Cousins and Alex Smith are still good QB's, no matter what teams they play for.

Still better than some of the college rules such as targeting, the stupid KO fair catch and get it at the 25 and the mundane reviews in college.

The NFL needs younger referees and maybe add 1-2 more. SOme of them are just too damned old and slow

One thing I"m tired of with football, is people complaining about the officials. The rules are out there, everyone knows them. Many of the rules are according to interpretation BY THE OFFICIAL. Not by the fans, not by the coaches.

The pro game is played at a high speed, the officials have one look at it. For the most part, I feel games are officiated well.

Totally agree. With that said, a lot of college officials are not very good. Due mostly to the fact that there are only so many quality officials to go around.

BINGO...so does the problem get better when incompetent fans, coaches, players and media continue to bang officials for the job they do? I go to alot of high school games. Fan behavior is horrible. I really don't blame anyone for not wanting to put up with it. So this is the problem we have.

So the issue with illegal hits and roughing. Just ask yourself this question, if you are ok with your QB, or best receiver/ running back taking questionable hits, then go ahead and cheer those hits by your defense. Because you can't have it both ways. You can't let your defense intimidate and take shots on the opponent, yet your offensive players never get the same.

Buffalo, Detroit & Arizona looking like the worst teams in the league. I'm sure Detroit & AZ will snag a few wins but the Bills are going to be REAL bad. Not a good QB situation coupled with losing 60% of last years starting O-Line is not a recipe for success.

Detroit will be ok, Stafford is just too good, and they generally play well at home, although week 1 was a whiff.

I'd agree with Buffalo, they seem like they are in full rebuild. I'm not sure we've seen the league at competitive as it is now. The margin of difference between the best and worst in pro football is the smallest of all pro sports.
