Absolutely. And there's a small ~week-long overlap in late October where every single major sport will be active.

Lol. That reminds me when indiandad tried to convince everyone the Reds wasted $14m by trading Phillips instead of cutting him.

Few weeks ago he was calling out their qb on the hs team and blaming him for losses.

Now he is misguided in the referee issue.

Avout that issue....ohsaa has the right to do that. I've been friends with the subject of that thread for 20 yrs. Been to many a game, drank many of beers with him. He is a good guy...says things I would never so but he has always been a good guy and likes to ruffle feathers.

He took up ref and ump as amhobby and doesn't need to to do. He has a lot of support as people who know him personally and as an official know the, true person

Jamele Hill suspended two weeks. Better than nothing, but ESPN still hypocritical. Others have been fired by this point.

Hill speaking out for what she believes. ESPN made the appropriate business response.

It's lose-lose for ESPN. People are unhappy and think 2 weeks isn't enough, but if ESPN cans her, they will get even harsher criticism from a louder group.

FWIW, I didn't see anything wrong with her second set of comments other than they violated ESPN guidelines for employees.

Right. Which is why I said she clearly violated company policy. But she is correct on some effective ways to stimulate change.

She was calling for a ban of companies that sponsor the Cowboys. Those same companies have advertising contracts with her employer. What a complete moron . She deserves anything that comes her way and is lucky she still has a job, given the way ESPN has handled similar cases in the past.

Don't forget that Bill Simmons got a three week suspension for saying Goodell lied about the Ray Rice video.

Gneiss Rocks literally believes every conspiracy theory— 911, Sandy Hook, pizza gate, and two shooters in Vegas. Am I missing others?

Nats-Cubs approaching 5 hours. MLB really needs to get it together.

Basically every playoff game that I've watched has been over four hours. It's horrendous

Also the Nats refused to pay the extra $100k/hr to keep the train lines running until the game ends, so it closed at 11:45 or something and tons of people had to leave. Joke of a franchise

Or a joke of a city. Why charge extra ? Serve the people that you tax. It's the only reason that the service exists in the first place

I agree, but the Nationals had a payroll of $200M this year. Pay up in the short term so fans can watch the games then negotiate in the offseason.
