I was hoping Charlotte would be the move but Family Dollar closed their corporate offices there a few months ago. I love North Carolina. Nashville is a possibility too, but less likely.

Yeah, I'm ready to move on from Cincinnati winters.

NC's major cities are just exploding right now, for good reason. Really awesome places. But I'm more of a small town guy myself. If everything works out I'll be moving into the mountains of western NC this fall.

Charlotte has a killer food scene too. I haven't seen much of the state lately outside Charlotte and New London, where my future in laws have a condo and lake house. Thanksgiving 2017 we did drive back to Cincinnati and stopped in Ashville for the weekend, driving through Pisgah and Cherokee National Forests were stunning. I want to spend more time out there.

I was passing through Boone during the pre-game of App State's big beat down of the Wolverines, and stopped to get a bite to eat with the family. Seemed like a fun place. Stayed in Hickory once, and I liked that little town as well.

Hoping this is my only honeymoon so figured we'd go big for it. It'll be my first time experiencing a Michelin restaurant too so I'm excited for that.

My first real love and I had the same honeymoon half-planned in the early 80's.

Then she realized I wasn't really ready to get married when I got drunk, got on a roll, and banged her ex-friend all weekend one time while she was away at school. Memories.

You seem more mature than I was then, but good luck anyway if you need it

Yeah, I'll still be in Arkansas for most of the time. Downside is it's kind of in the middle of nowhere. OKC and Kansas city are the closest major cities and they are 3.5+ hours away. Tulsa is only an hour but it's not that big. Upside is the city consistently ranks in the top 5 places to live in the country, it's even cheaper than Cincinnati, SEC West football, good for hiking and camping, and it'll probably just be a short 2-3 year stay before P&G relocates her again.

I was kidding, as I know nothing of the area. Could be a great place to live, certainly better than NEO.

Aunt and uncle retired to Fayetteville, AR and my cousin still lives there. Other places they have lived (besides Ohio) were Vermont and New Mexico, so AR fit them pretty nicely. Yes, hiking and camping should be nice.

Like Missourians, AR folks may even get in some summertime noodling!
