Who would you like to add to your conference?

I believe this was started in another thread before but couldn't find it.
Let's have it... Who would you love to have in your conference that isn't in it now, why?

I would love to see Clinton Massie and Covington added to the SWBL.
CM on the SW Division side and Covington to the Buckeye Division side. Let Franklin move on if they want and let Dixie replace Covington in the CCC.
CM vs Valley View, Bellbrook, Franklin, Monroe every year.. Nice games.
Covington vs MU, Waynesville, Carlisle and Madison would also be very good games.

NCL: Add Mooney, Ursuline, SVSM, Holy Name, Elyria Catholic and Canton Central Catholic. That would give the NCL 18 catholic schools from NE Ohio, that could be split in 3 divisions of 6.

I know that this is wishful thinking and will never happen, but it answers the qustion to this thread.

I would like to add, a Catholic either lake catholic or NDCL to the CVC for football
And if we couldn’t get them. I’d like to see Madison or Painsville Riverside

I wish Berea-Midpark was in with Mentor, Euclid, Solon, etc.. Berea is a D1 school playing in a D2 league.

I would love to see NCL crossovers again with the two divisions if the teams both agree to it and leave out mismatches that would be unbearable to watch and have running clock in the 1st half.

I’m not a fan of running clock until 4th quarter
Kids practice to hard to not get playing time. Getting in underclassmen or back ups
If games getting out of hand officials will just call phantom holding calls
Most coaches won’t try to embarrass other schools. Make it 4th quarter only unless coaches agree

With the GWOC North leaving the GWOC the SWBL is going to get plucked away. Teams like Eaton Valley View Bellbrook Oakwood Franklin Carlisle and Monroe will join up with the likes of Troy Tipp Piqua and so on. So when that happens I see what's left of the SWBL and CCC mixing up and putting together two conferences that will have a more local feel to it.

1st
PS
TVS
TCN
NT
Dixie
Brookville
TV
Arcanum
Northridge?

2nd
WM
ME
Covington
Bradford
MV
Ansonia
Bethel
FL

Then for other sports you add in FM and Newton and combine both divisions and you have the best small school basketball conference in Ohio.

Carlisle, Franklin in a league with Troy and Piqua? More likely to see Bellbrook and maybe Valley View once they grow a little more. But not Carlisle. Milton playing Bradford and Miss Valley? Never.

CCC could add MU and maybe Dixie to expand. But Milton will never agree to play Bradford and MV in a season. That would be playoff point suicide.
TCN ME and FL, Covington would be the only schools in the CCC that MU would agree to play.

I would also add Iggy and Ed's for all sports except football. Then have divisions based on ability with cross overs in lesser sports to save on travel.

I'd take West Carrollton and Fairborn from the GWOC defectors and add them to the SWBL instead. put them both in the big side, and drop Brookville to the small. Would give both sides 8 teams, and you no longer need crossovers.

GCL South: Change name back to Greater Cincinnati League and add Colerain, Winton Woods and Covington Catholic. If remaining only Catholic Schools, I'd love to add CovCath.

HMMMMM

I would like to add to the NBC (only has Louisville right now)

New Philly, Dover, Central, Canton South, Alliance, Marlington, Louisville, and Lake.

doesn't have to be called the NBC - I would rather call it the Senate League

I like this, but I might have Wooster instead of Alliance.

EDIT: The more I think about it, I would rather replace Canton South with Wooster.

West Carrollton to SWBL-Competetively fit for them along with the geographics. Slide them in Bellbrook,Valley View,Franklin,Monroe, move Waynesville over and maybe Northridge. WC is literally Northridge South or vice versa. Lebanon to GMC for the same reasons. Gwoc should be the original WOL with the additions of Trotwood,Northmont, Springboro and MIamisburg. Now you have:

GWOC:
Beavercreek
Centerville
Fairborn
Fairmont
Miamisburg
Northmont
Springboro
Springfield
Stebbins
Trotwood
Wayne

Lebanon is literally next to Mason and connected to Middletown. Why are they traveling to Springfield or Wayne or even Greenville for an inter-conference game?

The conference to the north of the CCC might disagree with that claim.

My dream scenario for the NCL 3 tiers just like basketball:

Football Only Arrangement

Blue Division: Division I-III schools

Hoban
Walsh Jesuit
Lake Catholic-(Protected cross over to face NDCL for traditional rivalry game)
Benedictine
St.Vincent-St.Mary
Padua

Red Division: Division III-V

NDCL-(Protected cross over to face Lake for traditional rivalry game)
VASJ
Cleveland Central Catholic
Holy Name
Elyria Catholic
(Cross over game with white Division fills last Conference game. Teams can designate opponent or rotate every 2 years)

White Division: Division V-VII

Trinity
Aquinas
Warren JFK
Gilmour Academy
Canton Central Catholic
(Cross over game with red Division fills last conference game. Teams can designate opponent or rotate every 2 years)

Can Troy Christian get in on any of this? All sports should be trending upwards in the next 5 - 7 years. Are they blocked due to private?

Yak r problem with TC is they are too small. My cousin is the head Wrestling coach there and I would hate to see him coaching against his Alma mater.
TC would fair well against the SWBL and CCC.

Move Waynesville and Northridge where? SWBL isn't the trash heap for all of the GWOC throw aways.
I would like to see the SWBL add some strong small schools like Covington, Fort Loramie or Miami East. Give Northridge and Dixie their walking papers. Ridge to the Dayton City and Dixie to the CCC.
Dograt, don't like those two schools added. The SWBL needs to beef up. I don't like crossovers either. Valley View is Milton's crossover this year and that's going to be rough.

Tri-Village, Franklin Monroe, TVS, Miami East, Arcanum, Bethel, Newton and Covington are all very strong programs in basketball and when you throw in Preble Shawnee, Brookville, and West Milton you get one of the best if not the best basketball programs in the state. The CCC has always been a very strong basketball conference (not as good as the MAC in football but strong).

I would like to see Western Clermont & Springboro join the GMC and allow the conference to form two five team divisions for football. Both of these schools would fight nicely into the GMC and the travel would still be reasonable.

I doubt they join the NCL considering that the only school near them is in Warren being JFK thatís in the NCL and theyíre in the small school division.
