The Packers have actually been pretty fortunate. Rodgers has been pretty healthy most of his career, and he moves around quite a bit. But yes, the 2017 season for the Pack is over.

A lot of people were saying the runner regained control of the ball in his left hand before touching the ground and pylon. That and it was a call in favor of NE so obviously people are going to oppose it.

Loses possession of football before crossing goal line, regains possession in end zone, but his shoulder\knee is out of bounds before he recovers football - touchback

Wanted to provide a snippet from my secret mic in the NFL Owners/ Players get together from yesterday....
Owners: Um, you have a contract to play football. We pay you millions of dollars to play a game, nearly all of you would never make the money you do in any other line of work.
Players: Um, ok. We'll just hang out in here for a few days to make it look like we're "discussing" things. Nothing is changing, we agree with your stance and we'll stand down.

The market dictates they're worth millions of dollars a year. Not sure why "playing a game" makes their compensation any more or less legitimate.

Not sure what you mean, they just should be thankful as heck that they live in a country where they can command that kind of salary for playing a game.
And BTW, only half of the NFL teams were even represented yesterday, and polarizing figure Jerry Jones didn't even bother to attend.
This is just trying to fix a problem that does not exist.

You could say that about any high earner. So you should just shut up and be thankful if you earn over a certain amount of money?

First of all, let's separate pro athletes from "real" life. While I appreciate these fantastic athletes, and I'm sure some, if not all have worked on their craft for upwards of 10+ years, they are still playing a game. And their employer... the NFL...cannot, nor should not, be in any way connected to "fixing" their perceived issue.
If they have an issue, they can certainly express that...outside of their work environment. My guess is most of these guys have little understanding of the issues.

Why? The market has a large demand for their abilities and pays accordingly, which causes an incredible amount of competition with only the best making it and reaping the rewards. It's the same model as any other high-earning profession.
So what's the level of wealth where one is no longer justified to complain?

I thought minimum wage workers weren’t supposed to complain either.

I agree. They should feel lucky that someone has to pay them.

Well the Seahawks trade CB Jeremy Lane, a 2018 5th round and a 2019 2nd round for OT Duane Brown. There is no new deal in place yet, his contract expires after this season.
As many have discussed, Garoppolo to SF for a 2018 2nd rounder.
And Jay Ajayi has been traded to the Eagles. Read they got a 4th round pick. Shocked that's all they got for him.

Welp, he wanted to play, and to get paid. He didn't want to wait. He's likely to play in two weeks.

Yeah, it makes me wonder if he is hurt.
In other NFL news: The once and future quarterback of the Denver broncos has returned! The Brock lobster will start Sunday, and the Browns will be paying the bulk of his salary!! Sashi may be paying him Haslams money to win somewhere else!!!

The Eagles have to be thrilled with Jay Ajayi, not sure what the Dolphins were thinking.

At this point, does anyone really care about the Ezekiel Elliott suspension? I think one of the things that puts off fans is the constant back and forth of these suspensions. How can a private organization like the NFL, be required to allow a player to play in a game when he's been suspended? Something as important as domestic violence is being batted around in a courtroom for playing time for a football player???

And for the hundredth time, 14Red shows he hasn't followed the details of the case at all.
I will say, the back-and-forth is ridiculous.

I'm thinking the same guy who was behind hof is now posting as 14Red and trolling us all again
hof kept up that charade for years so there's no reason he couldn't be doing it as 14Red. There's no other explanation for someone being so drastically wrong on every single thing
