Baby Driver: 5.5/8. Not as good as many said, but definitely an entertaining action movie with a unique twist.

I remember him from The Virginian. From Wikipedia:

US television[edit]

He subsequently replaced actors Lee J. Cobb, Charles Bickford and John McIntire on NBC's The Virginian, as the new owner of the Shiloh ranch on prime-time TV for its ninth year (1971).[20] Granger said he accepted the role for money and because it "seemed like it could be a lot of fun", but was disappointed by the lack of character development for his role.[20]

Just looked at the movies he has been in. Wow! It's amazing how many some can rack up. It may be due to a combination of love of the vocation and fear of not working again.

Dunkirk. Lots of action, lots of effects....not much more. Maybe I'm missing it but it doesn't live up to the hype.

I finally got around to watching Mad Max Fury Road and was very disappointed. It was basically just a 2 hour car chase.

I'd give spider-man a 7

Entertaining and fast moving for a movie kept me in the theater for nearly 3 hours

Scene of the car ride to the dance was fantastic

Probably the best end credit scene yet

Vampyr (1932) - Truly creepy at times. Very innovative during the time of transition from silent to sound. There are some really neat film effects early in the movie that do not further the narrative and, even though they pretty cool, are a distraction. The death dream is pretty creepy also, but, again, doesn't further the narrative.

5/8

The Big Sick: 6.75/8

The movie is seemingly largely based on the life of Kumail Nanjiani, who also stars in the film. It ends up being a very good dramedy where it's a compelling drama, but there's enough laughter to keep it light. It does feel a little long despite only being 2 hours long. It could have benefited from maybe 5 minutes of cuts.

Frozen River (2008) is a great film. I saw it at the theater when it came out. I would have given it a solid 6/8 but I am just glad you enjoyed it Sig. The film did not get the box office it deserved in my opinion.

Every now and then, anyone else get surprised how subtly ingrained a movie or movies has become in your experience?

MSN has one of those addicting "top..." lists, John Wayne's top 50. I knew I'd know some of them but all said and done, I think there are MAYBE only 4 I never watched, let alone never heard of.

http://www.msn.com/en-us/movies/gall...Bnb2gh#image=1

7.2/8 collectively

Two of the maybe lesser know I really liked,
Island in the Sky
The Long Voyage Home.

I'd be really surprised if there's any other actor I've seen 46 of their movies and actually remember them.
