Nice win for Stow

Nice win for the Stow Bulldogs last night. Congrats to the Bulldogs who played some inspired football and for 48 minutes. Hats off to the Bulldog team that didn't read the yappi faithful's posts on here which didn't give Stow much of a chance in winning the game last night (did anyone in the pick em contest even take Stow?)

Stow played some very solid ball last night in defeating the Wadsworth Grizzlies in Stow's home opener. Looked like a new team with a new attitude.

It is going to be interesting in seeing what happens with this team in the coming weeks.

Stow looked very good last night oldline
they had a couple of mistakes like penalties and dropped snaps but I'm very excited to see what happens in the upcoming weeks for the bulldogs

It wouldn't have mattered, I was there, Wadsworth didn't have a snowballs chance in _____ of winning that game. They were out physicaled (is that a word?), from the opening kick off. Stow kids are pissed off about their reputation lately, and are out to change the perspective on their program this year!

Wadsworth generally has a strong program and good teams from year to year. Quite honestly I was surprised Stow dominated on D as much as it did. It won the battle of the line of scrimmage and I concur with the poster who said Stow outphysicalled the Grizzlies. Don't recall what the final yardage was for both teams but IIRC Stow did a very good job containing Wadworth on the ground.

Stow has to be happy with how it played Friday night. We'll take it- a win is a win, and Stow looked like a new team with a new mission.

Anyone know a JV score from Saturday?
