Greenville played Jay County for 3 years in their independent era, and clobbered them each time. Greenville was D-2 at the time, and it was like playing a mediocre D-5 program. Indiana football, at least on the eastern side of the state, is vastly inferior. That's why I've always kind of wanted to see a series with Richmond.

I was at that game. Sat on the DSJ side of the field. I'll never forget an obvious Blue Jay fan on his cell phone to someone back in Delphos as we left the stadium "We won...yeah, I'm serious as a heart attack."

Again why would a MAC school playing a d2 school have anything to do with how great our league is. Theres no point in playing a school triple the size of most MAC schools. None. That's why they have a thing called "divisions"

Sure it would. With the distance between the two schools it'd probably be on a Saturday. I'd definitely make the drive to watch.

I think the MAC is overrated is why. They knock each other off and are cream puffs.
Kirtland was all beat up from playing stronger teams.
Maria comes in well rested with few injuries from playing cream puffs

Greenville is way better than Jay County though. Richmond would be a neat Matchup for Greenville.
[2017] Greenville (OH) 42, [2017] Richmond (IN) 7
And yes eastern Indiana football is pretty Bad.

That's kind of oxymoronic isn't it? If the only teams in the playoffs to beat MAC schools are other MAC schools then the league is anything but a cream puff. In fact the league has proven to be quite dominant especially against the rest of the State.

I’ve always agreed. I’ve warched Gwoc north football for many years.
Hundreds of games over the years. Most years a top tier Marion local team would win he Gwoc north. They are just different. There’s no other way around.

Schedule the game. Lets see how dominant they are.
Dominant against Patrick Henry, Fort Loramie, Fort Recovery, Anna, etc.

yeah? they have divisions so little punk schools can go around beating their chests and saying they are dominant and don't have to play "up"
they can stay in their little puddles and tell themselves they are kings of the lake.
whatever.

How far up is up. ML played D-3 CJ, CW played D-4 CM, and Fort Recovery played- D4 Valley View. Once again ML has an opening 1st game of the season next year, tell your AD to schedule " down" vs ML.

Both Jackson and Perry are better but anyhow...
We did schedule Massilon Washington at Massillon and the Paper Tigers backed out to play a bad Lima SR team at the time.... many years ago but you guys wanted nothing to do with us... a few years later CJ made the trip and got the win against the Tigers.... sorry but now that the games are played on the field their is nothing scary about Mass-Washington....

Vamps, Thanks again for all the times during the regular season and play-offs you projected Pickerington Central to lose. Please continue to do so next year. We need your short-sighted support.

I think it was about 4 times Pick Central was suppose to lose and beat the odds all 4 times.... The system finally gave in and had you guys favorites in the Mentor game.....
At least you guys are not trying to recruit in Huber like your buddies up North are doing.....

Soon it will be demanded by MAC haters that all MAC teams be combined and play D1. But they probably wouldn't be pleased by that either.
