Regardless, I think we can all agree there is alot of work to do there so these guys will need their fair share of luck.
I got him at 31-39 against a soft schedule with no playoff appearances...its a stretch.

31-39 with the talent level in Conneaut is pretty good in my opinion. They are atrocious

When did Dobran take over Conneaut?

From 2004 to 2012 they went 13-77. Yes, thats 13 wins in 9 seasons!

Since 2013 they are 29-20. 29 wins in the last 5 seasons is a drastic improvement.

Conneaut has changed over to a predominately Pa. schedule only the last couple of years. Wins are easier there.

Right. They are- if you look at it like they have the same talent as Valley schools. They do not however have much talent up there to work with. Ever.

Exactly. When has Conneaut ever played a tough schedule?

Their last losing season in 2012 they went 0-10. They played Champion, Edgewood, Py Valley, Ledgemont, Grand Valley, Jefferson. Yeah, real tough schedule there too. The list goes on & is similar in other seasons.

The PA change may have made it slightly easier to find wins but thats not the only reason they have had 5 straight non-losing seasons after winning 13 games in 9 years.

Looks like he has been there from 2011...which is where I got my numbers from. There has been an improvement but he did go 0-10 in 2012, albeit against a much together schedule than they currently have.

While at Giant Eagle in Howland I saw Will Angle who used to help his brother Dick at Howland and has a long coaching history himself including a short year at my beloved WGH but like Jeff Bayuk, he left very quickly (heard he and Arnold din't see eye to eye on most coaching ideas plus he definitely did not get along with the incompetent staff Arnold has there). I asked him about the Head job at Howland and he mention Steve Boyle as a viable candidate if the school wanted a young, energetic, smart young coach. He hoped Howland would make a wise choice for sake of the kids.

Saw where Boyle got the job tonight in the paper. Guess Coach Will Angle was correct with his prediction days in advance!
