Not only is Massillon rolling right now, but Jamir Thomas has been a monster against Harding in his career. In two games, he has 60 carries for 243 yards & 5 TDs. Not only that, but the Tigers have a pretty dynamic supporting cast around him.

That said, Harding’s biggest strength thus far has been their rushing defense as they’ve only given up 1.9 yards per carry through two games, which is a huge improvement from the beginning of last year. Thomas brings a completely different level of a challenge, but if Harding hopes to have any kind of success next week, they’ll have to be able to limit his production on early downs. Much easier said than done.

Last week, Harding dug themselves into a deep hole with early mistakes. Since trailing 28-0 to start the season, they’ve outscored their opposition 54-0, which could be much higher had they cashed in on several deep drives against McKinley. They definitely can’t allow Massillon to get big plays on special teams because allowing them to start with a short field will cause a huge problem. I do believe that Harding is much better than many are giving them credit for as they’ve really settled down defensively the last six quarters and hopefully, that trend will continue next week in Tiger Town.

GO RAIDERS!

So Massillon beats a team that lost their opener 41-10 and now nobody can compete with them...ok

It’s a very real possibility that Whitmer and Massillon are top teams in their respective divisions and GlenOak is having a down year along with needing to bring up underclassmen and now losing a QB. Once the QB went down, I imagine GlenOak fans saw the writing on the wall once that happened.

Sorry, I just realized I was responding to this post as well as your post on the other thread.

Massillon made it deep last year and they have most of their pieces back. Seems like a no brainer to me.

They had negative yards on 3 drives before the qb got hurt.

Yeah GlenOak losing their QB had absolutely nothing to do with the outcome. They were bad all around. Doesn't matter who is QB if no one can catch a pass, or block, or tackle... Massillon named the scored last night.

I'm sure Warren is much better than this years GlenOak team. But I just don't see how they will stop our offense. Best they can hope for is a shootout. We've only given up 7 points in two games, so good luck with that.

GO was overmatched but really hated to see them lose their QB. Our thoughts are with him. Garcia knew it was a rebuild year by starting all those jrs and sophs but was hoping for a few wins anyhow to build on for next year or 2, but his was a devastating loss. Keep your heads up!

Again nothing containing any truth or value. Just an agenda! TWISTING OF WORDS. Let me help you. Your sophist views are now on the level of being absurd. Who do you think wins and why?

As for this game the Massillon D has been tough. They will determine for the Tigers how this game will go. I expect a tough game but if the Massillon D stands tall all will go well!!!! I think they will stand tall and Massillon pulls away in the second half. 31-14!

Good report Worm. We had you down big early also a couple years ago in a loss which you dominated the 2nd half. Seems to be Warrens MO lately. If they can figure out how to get off to better starts and execute they can be very tough.

Btw, Kay'Ron Adams is set to announce next week between Rutgers, Toledo, Cincinnati. Great back. 172 yards vs. McKinley. Will be a great test for Massillon's D.

Wow. Just read the Blade article - one of those games where the wheels come off. Actually outgained them but pick-6's and fumble returns to the house. Hard to get a good read on anyone yet.

Lynn Bowden’s performance in Massillon was amazing. Adams was a sophomore on that team and now, it’s his turn to lead. Sophomore quarterback Elijah Taylor has been solid for us and the game is starting to slow down for our young receivers. Next week will be a big test for their growth.

It will be either Rutgers or Toledo for Adams. Great kid from a great family!

Seems you are the only person saying such things. Nobody is bragging the Tigers up so you come here and try to stir it a little, it's not working! Try harder at your trolling, you really aren't cut out for it, but, try best that you can. I hope you go back and read it and see how foolish your posts look.

Winning by 35 and "now nobody can compete with them" are 2 different statements. You were the only person saying the 2nd statement, so yes, it's a foolish statement on your part.

Not saying youíre wrong, but GlenOak probably scores at some point if he stays in, even in garbage time.

I didnít really read anything about 5tds, but Iíd say Massillon is heavily favored. I wouldnít be surprised if the score was in that neighborhood.

Cal preps has it 48-6 on a neutral field, fantastic 50 says Massillon by 23, so, between the 2 sites, anywhere from 4 td's to 6 td's margin. Guess we'll see next week.

Including a penalty for 12 men on the field, GlenOak had 8 yards in offense in 3 drives before their QB got hurt.

Never during the regular season. However, the Tigers and WWR scrimmaged numerous times during the 1970ís.
