D2 State Runner Up Winton Woods! 2018 Season

What are you guys expecting? Should be a good year as we reload. Trying to replace QB Kenny .Mayberry will be key.

Offense will be very explosive top flight back and probably the best receiver the Warriors have had in 10+ years, question is do they move him to QB. Defense will be typical Warriors D.

Sorry if it was already addressed but no LaSalle this year? That is a GREAT D2 matchup. In any case yes very strong schedule. Heck of a team last year.

I hope they leave prince at wideout, that's where he is most dangerous and would benefit the team the most. I've said all last year there is no one that can stay with him one on one. The biggest key is will they have someone who can get him the ball like Kenny did . However, knowing the mo of the coaches and how they tend to do things I fully expect prince will probably play some wildcat throughout the year, but to be a full time QB wouldn't be wise.

I'm torn about Prince at QB, the option *was* the Warriors identity for years and Prince is the perfect fit to run this offense, yet at wide out he is unstoppable and the safeties can't cheat up onto the box, which leaves lanes for the RB. Who was the QB during 7on7 and how did he look?

I love how WW steps up every year and plays the big dogs. IMO it helps them in football not having a league. I think playing this type of schedule has helped them in the playoffs.

Uh, let me assure you, not playing in a league is a huge problem and any AD will tell you the same thing.Woods can compete with the big boys because, just like the big boys, Woods goes and gets the players they need. There are reasons Woods got left out of the ECC, and it had nothing to do race.

I disagree, it sucked traveling 3 hours to watch a game, I'm glad the AD has scheduled games a lot closer. Truth be told I'm most excited about the game with Northwest, they get Mt.Healthy on board we'll be cooking with grease.

Obviously it's easier scheduling wise to be in a league. What's the point of drilling the Harrisons and Edgewood's of the world though? WW getting to make a schedule that includes the GCLS and big name public schools only helps them in the long run.

It has its pros and cons. Scheding the Big GCL schools and other big schools started with Coach Troy Everhart. Many people didn't like him doing this. But Everhart believed that playing these teams would help the program compete at a high-level. The offseason program at WW is second to none. They also get great numbers as far as participation. As evident when you see WW play they are very physical. They back down from no one. No one pushes them around. They take on the personality of head coach Andrs Parker. Its tough playing the schedule that WW does. Most concerning thing is injuries.

Did anyone see the 7 on 7 against Withrow or Taft. How did the 2 QBs look?
