It's very tough for me to pick 10 worthy teams this year because very few teams really stand out from the others.

After following 5 weeks and seeing many games either in person or online, for me this is what I see:
1. St. X
2. St. Eds
3-10. -( toss about 5-10 teams in a hat and start pulling.)

Wow, I knew Centerville was good, but I didn't expect the Elk to fill in two spots in sscje's Top 10.

What the Pope said............any of these four teams,......with maybe Pick. Central added in. Personally,......I watched the Eds vs. Elder game. Wow,.....it would be hard to bet against a team that runs the ball that well.

P.S. Go Bombers !!!

Pickerington North will win region 3 in a rematch with Centerville or against Wayne. I saw them destroy Westerville Central and I was so impressed with their athletes I followed them to Liberty last week expecting a good game (it wasn't). I know these two opponents are fairly average this year, but North looks like a team prepared to make a legitimate run.

What kind of odds would I get if I just took the pretty likely final match-up of ED's vs ST X right now?

Pope what would you set it at? ED'S is going that to me is 100000 PERCENT X may have more trouble where they are , but to me It's basically become even more than it was before a Catholic tournament with Wayne getting in whe they get key transfers to fill holes and a Pick Central team went beating X in the Semi's when they had a handful of transfers themselves , Yes we Know Davidson beat two Publics to win titles somewhat recently and did have to BEAT ONE Catholic school on the way Elder in 2009 on a late TD and a rare long pass.

D-1 and D-3 is a Catholic tourney and D-2 is the LaSalle invitational LOL

While we can expect any OCC team to fold like a cheap suit come crunch time, Wayne, Colerain, Mentor, and Centerville all look like bonafide D-1 contenders. LaSalle just lost to Winton Woods who is looking like a favorite, and the rejuvenated Hoban Sports Academy isn't going to concede anything either. In D-3, there's no reason to think that the University of Trotwood won't thump Toledo Central Public on their way to the finals again.

We'll see of course there are hundreds more publics, some are going to have real good teams but the majority of titles will be won by the minority of schools, never mentioned OCC which is a Public league , you look to bash whether they are mentioned or not , but that's just who you are , a swell ugly dude

Centerville ? really? Won a fluky game at home vs PN , wil get thumped if they play them again . Sappy will argue it's a level playing field and it's a lack of character that causes the minority to win the majority. So is your argument that the publics will rise this eyar and win a bunch of titles ?
Want to put your money where your mouth is ? I'll give you the public FIELD and i'll take a few Catholics .

I'll give you Winton Woods I am sure they run the table and coast lol because we al know who wins in the regular season always wins in the play-offs as well

Yes I suppose but Wayne isn't really Wayne this year , they were loaded last year and they stumbled I mean two fake punts for huge yardage ? Turnovers galore , they are younger this year. PN or PC ( again) are capable of beating them and Centerville . If they play on s neutral I'll give you Centerville against either PC or PN and some points. How's that ?

Right now, I would say:
1. St. Xavier
2. St. Edward
3. St. Ignatius
4. Colerain
5. Centerville
6. Pick North
7. Wayne
8. Mentor
9. Pick Central
10. Moeller (unless QB McBride is done for the season)

Honorable: Whitmer, McKinley, Elder, Lincoln, Northmont
