Where is Ropeadope? He is Hall's number 1 fan. I am sure he would know if Hall is up for the Hoover job.

Adding non-essential administration would be a death blow to the district's efforts to pass an upcoming levy.
The keeping on of non essential administration is a death blow to the levy. Show you are serious by eliminating some of the highest paying positions in the district and then we can talk. Interestingly enough out of all the things that get threatened to be cut administration is never one of them.

Well let's hope they reach out to someone who is a proven winner and can build a program. Good Luck all.

Hoover's in a tough spot. They have fired successful coaches while hiring sexual predators in girls' sports. Community trust in the district decision makers is at an all time low. Passage of a levy will be difficult in such an environment.

Yeah they let go of the track and Cross Country coach on the girls side a few years ago. I think the name was Kirtland. Those teams were always top in the county. Now I see the boys and girls teams aren't even top 10 in the county. That's a shame. Let's hope this is a good hire. Good Luck

I just saw the details on the levy. That is quite a large tax increase for the subject property owners.

Yep - a rolling eyes emoji is not a cogent response. NC is in a tough spot - a hefty levy being asked by a district that fires successful coaches and hires sex offenders.

Come on m2s. Every school in the county has had their turn with the sleaze, yours included. This is like the 15th time you've posted that Hoover had some forbidden love going on with the coaches and students.

NC schools are still plenty decent and they are one of only two public districts (out of 17) in the county to actually attract new residents to the area. Most of the others actively repel people. Let's all rise together now

Not sure how these two thoughts end up together in the same post, but I am sure if I was a voter in the NCHS district I would be concerned about the hiring practices of the administrators that I was paying.

Almost May and still no hire. I think it's obviously a tough situation despite the denial from some NC fans.

Are you equally concerned with the hiring practices of Canton City given the situation with the swim program?

It's almost May and still no hire for McKinley basketball...I think it's obviously a tough situation.

You can’t help but LMAO watching people complain on other threads that some people are so negative and do nothing but try to drag everyone down. Yet those people run to other threads doing the same thing.

+1.

Apparently, a certain HoF Village lapdog doesn't have any mirrors in his glass house.

Good grief baseball, someone had to tell me you were soliciting my expert opinion and analysis on a different thread. Sorry so late, Hall is not considering the Hoover job.

Looks like they are waiting till the levy vote, to see if any jobs will be available. None of the people listed in the paper seemed that good, other then McBride. Looks like they are trying to find a good proven head coach, IMO is a smart move. At least they are trying to get the hire right. They need some new blood. Good Luck to whoever gets it.

Hoover has hired Mike Bluey as head coach. Mike has been head coach at Tallmadge the last five seasons and was an assistant under Mike Fuline at both Jackson and Mount Union before that.
