I believe he has offers from Akron, BG, Cincy, Syracuse & Duke. Hettich has 5 offers from D1 (Cincy), MAC (2), D2 (2). Johnson has a lot of D3 & D2, however, he has opted to play baseball.

This is probably the most foolish post I have seen in awhile. Any college team would be thrilled to land this kid. My son plays against him and has for a few years so I am not a Manchester homer.

He just stated his opinion. D1 college coaches make mistakes all the time. EGW from McKinley was Urban’s first offer (don’t hold me to that i could be wrong). But he did want him to the face of the that recruiting class. Fast forward. EGW rarely saw the field at O Stateand is now playing at D2 Slippery rock. I know there was off field issues but before those issues he barely played.

Playing RB at the D1 level, in my opinion, the player should be touching 200 pounds. Or at least looking at it after a good meal.

So you're the same guy who lambasted the Massillon receiver last year for taking the preferred walk on at OSU over the scholarship offers he had. Now you want this kid to pay his way at Mount over free education. Make up your mind.

Rivals has Wright listed as an ATHLETE with an offer from SEC Vandy.

I like the player. 190 is a bit much in my opinion. More like 175 180. College coaches have the real weight. He has the skill set to play D1 but I see him more as a free safety type player. His hips, in my opinion are not good enough for corner and is too small for running back. That said, I would take a shot an offer him and see how he develops. Just my opinion. What do I know.

I believe your assessment is correct I see him as a safety in college more than anything.

According to some people, his blocking needs work, could be a WR & defensively he needs a lot of work. Regardless of what some say, he did not return kicks this year, except for 7 punts for negligible results. But, he is a legit D1 athlete. They will coach him up.

Great for him! What were his stats for the season?

Every year kids overreach. Hope it doesn't happen to the Manchester kid - or any of them.

PS - once again - some adults can troll a nteenager's Twitter and its cool, but if others do so its creepy.

I actually went looking for proof that he was happy at OSU to show your ignorance. I'm also a Massillon fan and had already read about him doing well there. No trolling here that's the 1st time I've ever went to his twitter feed, only went to find the proof. Coach Moore has feeds from Austin on his twitter page so it wasn't hard to do. What's truly creepy is that you act like you know something about football and where a kid should land in college, you truly are a dolt, I had hoped it wasn't true but you prove it every time you post. With your last post you tried to throw me under the bus from beneath it's wheels. Oh, it's also not grammatically correct to say an teenager and the space was in the total wrong place, it should say a teenager, not your fault though you can't help the education you received. And what do stats have to do at all with a kid being happy with the school he chose? Senseless to say the least.

First time on a teen's Twiietr account? OK if you say so

Stats separate facts from fiction about any player's actual on-field contribution to a "Big Ten Championship."

Tell you what - PM me if you want his actual on-field stats. This is a thread about Manchester and I don't want to be a party to another Massillon hijack attempt.

Here's hoping all these student-athletes choose the college that best suits their athletic preferences and career aspirations, and that they are happy wherever they go. Who are we to criticize their choices? There is a difference between critiquing and criticizing.

No hijack attempt at all. You put your statement out there and I responded to it, the kid loves being at OSU on the team, and his stats don't make him love it any less. Yet again you try to twist things to fit your agenda and get caught at it. Making foolish statements like you do will never get you the backing here that you seek. A concrete wall behind you would provide no backing with the foolishness you spout. Oh, and what's a Twiietr account? Some new type of social media? A word you made up? Just shut it down guy, you keep digging yourself into that hole deeper and deeper.

The way I see it, at the end of the day, there is only one varsity ball. Hoban certainly comes with its opportunities. But perhaps it is not necessarily a best fit for everyone.

As far as Wright's case, he certainly had an opportunity to win a chip with Manchester. The panthers didn't pull it off unfortunately, but Manchester is certainly very good for it's division. I think an athlete will get his exposure regardless of whether he is part of a contending Manchester team, or an contending Hoban team, or a contending Massillon team, or heck, even at some point when hell freezes over, a contending Coventry team.

Why are you guys talking about Hoban on this post? This post is about 3 young men from Manchester and their highlights. If you want to talk about Hoban, please start your own post. Thanks.
