Bethel vs Miami East

Bethel vs. Miami East

Big CCC implications, who wins this matchup?

My pick is Bethel by 14.

Sounds about right, only if Bethel speed is enough of a factor to outscore East. I think quite a few points will be put on the board in this one, 45-30 or some such score.

With a win Bethel will all but seal a playoff spot. Looking around, two MAC schools are going to have a hard time jumping over all the schools ahead of them.

Bethel scoring 45+ points a game, I'm not sure they can do that this week. Through 4 weeks , they haven't played anybody as tough as east. Can their defense stop the wing t? East usually embarrasses bethel . Bethel is better but the question is can they beat the big 3 in the CCC. I guess that question will be answered starting this Friday. East beats Bethel 35-21.

The game last year was hardly an embarrassment. The score was within 7 at the end of the game. Bethel just couldn't make a plays d turned the ball over on downs with just a few minutes left. East was able to break a long play fight at thesnd to make the score 28 to 14. Score does not indicate how close the game actually was. Bethel is a much improved team over last years group. It is time for Bethel to put up or shut up! I think they have the team to do that this year.

Bethel wins this one with ease. I know scrimmages mean nothing but Ansonia actually beat East in scrimmage and Bethel smoked them last week. QB and running back are studs. Not sure east has the speed to stay with the receiver that caught the TD's last week. He was flying. Justin is fast but not that fast.

We've scrimmaged bethel the last two years and this years group is quite a bit ahead of last years group...physical and good team speed. Good luck to the bees!

Well.....speed was not enough to stop East. Sometimes it takes more than talent to win a game.
