Tallmadge #7 and a first place vote? Doubtful to even make the playoffs and will lose by double digits to an 0-3 team this week. Polls should be more accurate than this.

That's why most folks don't put much stock in polls. The AP poll is reporters. One of them obviously is a Tallmadge fan. It happens all the time with some schools, usually an anti private vote.

Shows the value of pre-playoff AP championships. Almost zero.

Tallmadge is sitting on top in Region 9 after week 3's computer rankings.

Keep rolling with that past performance wishful thinking. I have a network of coaches and past tense discussion is Aurora is down...way down...

Come with that attitude and get beat.

Would liked to have seen Tallmadge still on our schedule here at New Philadelphia. I know they had a couple down seasons the last few years, but all things are generally cyclical. Glad they're getting off to a good start. The Quakers haven't really been tested other than a slow start last week which eventually turned into a 28-6 win. I'm anxious to see how NP fares on the back end of the campaign. Obviously Steubenville and Dover are red letter games but you can never overlook Canton CC even though they haven't started well.

By most accounts, Tallmadge was projected to finish middle of the SLA with Copley. They are improved no doubt. A 4th place finish would be a great leap from two last place finishes the last two years. Aurora may be down and I could see them finishing 3rd in the league. However, the gap between the top 3 and everyone else in the league is fairly large. Aurora has the speed to run around Tallmadge and also has enough size to matchup with the Devils. Not sure how Tallmadge will score many points. Aurora has a better offense than Ravenna or Streetsboro. Not sure how the Devils keep them under 30 points. That is why I see this game being a 35-7 or 42-14 type of game.
