They were not "kneeling alone". They were kneeling and praying. Together. Black and white, not singling out one race. Try to pay attention.

Wow. Looks like another national anthem perpetrator. This time it's Gabe Kowalski - back-up punter for the Steelers.

When asked why he kneeled during their preseason game against the St. Louis Rams, Kowalski said, "It was the final game of the preseason and I hadn't been on the field yet. I was hoping that someone would notice that I was still on the team and consider giving me a couple snaps on 4th down."

Kowalski was promptly cut from the team during the 2nd quarter that evening.

How funny did you think that would be on a scale of 1-10?

Oh.

They were praying.

That makes it okay.

Were they kneeling facing Mecca?

They have the right to do whatever they want, but many fail to comprehend that everyone else then also has the right to display their displeasure or support.

Cannot have it both ways folks.

No, most only want to have it their way. Only if you agree with the left leaning folks on social issues, you won't be chastised. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense does it?

I find it a little ironic that with all the hate and drama the past few weeks, we have a natural disaster in the Houston area and people just step up and help, like they should. Maybe if we just stop the hate, and commentating and protesting hate, we can all just mind our business and take care of more important things, like each other.

Last year for the Cowboys game we got the opportunity to hold the flag for the Salute To Service game.

In a way it was pretty neat to be on the field and all. Some complained that the free ticket we got was a crappy seat. I had been to enough NFL games to realize that pretty much all the good and decent seats are season ticket holders so the freebies are gonna be crappy.

I know I wont go back and do it for them because of this if we get asked, even though I defend their right to do what they are doing. I just don't agree with it.

I thought it was funny that right before we went out for the real thing (you practice it for 30-45 minutes earlier in the AM) they said 'you are a guest of the browns and I realize some of you are cowboys fans. If you pull out a flag, towel, hat, shirt or anything for Dallas you will be immediately escorted from the facility!

That was just minutes after thinking to myself if it was the steelers in town I woulda took my Terrible Towel to wave walking off the field!
