Yes, I have been married for thirty years now, well aware of my imperfect ability to think rationally.

Then your deeming their thought process as stupid is no more valid than their idea of yours. For instance, I park out by myself whenever possible because it protects my $30 to $60,000 investment... I can't remember the last time I had an incident such as Bluth described... I'm not in anybody's way and they aren't in mine... it's simply less clutter in my day. You may find that stupid, the way I find piling on 50ft from the door all bunched together is stupid also. I go to New York often, and the rows of apartments and people nut to butt all crowded together just isn't for me. Same with jockeying around for a parking spot with all the other hectic fast laners. Give it a try sometime. Just wheel into a lot and stop out in the open spaces. Stroll in and when you come out fling those doors open like a drunk fat girls legs on prom night. Feels good man. Feels damn good.

Nearly five years ago I bought my first new car in over 20 years, a Volvo g-70 convertible, perfect for Tucson weather. I was determined to see if I could go a year without getting any dings in it. Consequently I always parked in a distant spot or one where one side was already potected by a tree or some other barrier. I made it! Then one year turned into two, then three, then four. When I brought it in for service, the guy said he had never seen a year that old in such pristine condition. Then after 4 years and seven months, I cut a curb to closely and put a minor dent ito it. But I still park so remotely that my friends kid me by saying I should just leave the car at home and walk to my destination.

Lol yeah they are. I'm thinking about trading one of my ARs for a Schwinn Krate right now actually. I've always wanted one.

You can still get their 26" Cranbrook Cruiser (plain, no gears) for 80 bucks from Walmart.

I opted for the 29" Onex Genesis, same design for $120 on sale. I'm a bigger guy, and that sucker is sturdy and handles great. I'm not parking it anywhere near the cart corral, don't want to mess up that gorgeous black finish.

I bought a Huffy Iron Man about twenty years ago for ~$100 at KMart with the thought that if I stuck with riding I would move up. Still ride the bike and - despite a couple of spills - it is in as good shape as I am! It looks like comparable bikes go for $160 or so now.
