I have this image of EY swinging a tire iron and Bigtoe's friend takes off his prosthetic leg and bludgeons him to death.

So you literally pull in the mall entrance and take the first spot regardless of the empty spaces ahead because you plan to walk 3 miles in the mall?

Pretty sure ey sits in his car to see who gets out of the car in the handicap spot. If it's a healthy woman it's on!!! If it's a healthy dude....maybe just murmur under his breath...then post on yappi.

Never saw a kid drag a coat zipper over a car much less do damage. That's a new one.
Coat zippers, back packs, those little metal tabs on jeans... there's a reason why there are ropes around cars at car shows. Even if a car is dirty and you wipe it with your hand it leaves fine scratches on it. I'm picky about cars though. I powerwash and wire brush the underside of our cars and trucks about once a year, and paint it with rust inhibitors especially on our pickups where the frame and leaf springs etc are visible. Rust is the Devil. The underside of my 64 is as nice as a new car on the showroom.

I can see backpacks, maybe, but if you are worried about coat zippers and jean rivets, the. You probably shouldn't be driving a car anywhere.

Not at pboy's gym. They all park 2 miles away and sprint to the door.

And sometimes I use the valet on leg days.

The valet knows I won't tip him if the heated seat isn't turned on too.

Quite serious, really.

I generally have a thought through and (well?) Reasoned reason for much of what I do. I have a reason for parking way out of crowded area while many in life seem oblivious and unconcerned with much of what they do, and have not thought about the benefits pro or con for a specific action.

I suspect people who take the time to come here to post on an opinion board are very likely to also be the sort who think their way though life. Most people I know would rather listen to 5 more songs on their Playlist than be bothered thinking about life.

So it is no surprise to me many who think about where to park, are the ones who choose to park further away, and as such, that skews the poll out of norm and as you say would make you believe the back of the parking lot is where the action is.

My Acura has A/C seat ventilation, so that has to be on when it's warm.

I didn't realize something as simple and dumb as parking could bring out such narcissism in some people. Ever consider that people such as myself have thought through your own parking thought process and deemed it to be a stupid thought process?

That's pretty obvious, considering what has transpired itt, Slide-b1. Classic case of (way) over-think IMO. Perhaps it's done by some simply to fulfill their narcissistic thoughts on the matter. I will forever be aware now that those parking a mile away from the building are looking down on me.
