Note this is 100% a guess, I don't know Campbell or how much he weights. If he can make 197 I think he goes 197 for two years. They have Myers at heavy for two years post Campbell redshirting. I'm guessing he takes the redshirt to see if he can make that weight, and if not bulk up and challenge Myers for the 285 spot in 2019.

Dean has his last shot next year in Cleveland. So he's the most likely AA next year for St. Edward.

TEN from Ohio high schools made the quarters, already one guaranteed All-American, as Walz (Virginia Tech/St. Edward) and Jennings (Northwestern/Centerville) are paired in the quarters.

Others to make quarters:
133 - Tomasello (CVCA/Ohio State)
141 - Heil (St. Edward/Oklahoma State), DiCamillo (St. Ignatius/Virginia)
149 - M. Jordan (Graham/Ohio State)
165 - I. Jordan (Graham/Wisconsin)
174 - B. Jordan (Graham/Ohio State)
197 - Moore (Norwayne/Ohio State)
285 - Kasper (Lexington/Duke)

Michael Coleman (184, Navy - Hudson High School) took Gabe Dean down twice, only lost by major decision (an accomplishment considering Dean has had a tech or fall in all but 3 matches prior to that), and then won his first conso match.

Any true wrestling fan that has followed Ward's career would have surmised he was injured. He had a horrible injury at ACC's and gave it his best shot going into this. It wasn't something anyone wanted to advertise but was very obvious when he was on the mat. Love this sport through all the ups and downs! He has been a thrill to watch and made our family proud handling this all like the champ that he is! Go Tar Heels!

ohio AAs

I was looking for this. A california guy on youtube was saying Cali is tougher than Ohio because of 1 high school division. Theses numbers say no.

Cleveland state Maybe ?Central Mich Maybe ?
MISSOURI ?ALL DEPENDS IF Miklus stays at 184 ,or bumps to 197 for the next 2 years hopefully Miklus goes 184 but who knows .Ragu your somewhat veiled attempt to.create drama is cute but besides being the strongest athlete at Mzzou period Myers has beaten guys Campbell could not.last 2 periods with and lasted matches with Walz Kroells Dejournette those are not nationally unranked kids in ohio sec districts and state .
Hope he.can go 197 ,but either way College is not High School and guys who beat him multiple xs in.HS are back ups to guys Myers MAJORS
HE LOST TO TWO NATIONALLY RANKED GUYS THIS WEEK GOING INTO THE THIRD IN BOTH DOWN 1 and losing only by 1 in one match as the only freshman heavy in the tournament
.Hes a team player who was the only Tiger to make every match this year on the starting lineup.
